But he wouldn't have. That's the point. We let him go to a team where he has a chance to PLAY. Very beneficial to The PLAYER and he knows it too I'm sure. In return we got a guy who can compete for a CB job. I see no real downside to making this trade.

Booker was going to play quite a bit for us in the rotation.

Apparently not if we were willing to trade him away must have felt he was expendable and liked the other depth players we have on the DL.

On top of getting a CB that should be in the competition to start opposite Q

We like Ty Robinson better?

Answer the question. Which teams are RB "finesse" teams? YOU brought it up so you should know. Then show me the post that "proves otherwise"

Crickets. Nice deflection to the Booker trade LOL

You said(about Dotson) it wasn't just about the 16, it was other things(like sucking up?). What other things? IMO it was about the 16, nothing else. It was never a question because of the 16 5th year option. What else could it be?

More crickets

We have Byron Young former 3rd round pick we traded for last season, Ty Robinson who we just drafted and Gabe Hall who we signed as an UDFA last year.

Clearly must like what we have in these 3 as far as depth goes

Also wouldn’t put it past Howie to see few more trades and roster moves before the season even starts

Hasn’t sounded like Ty Robinson has been ready. So not sure who else has been stepping up. Be nice if we have some sleeper DT that we dig up is why Booker was trade-able. Booker has been starting early in TC.

Are they giving up on Ringo? Is that what it’s more about than actually having such a surplus of interior Dline? Raiders fan sites were talking about how this CB was on their roster bubble.

Never was a thought of accepting his fifth year option. What part of that is confusing you so much?

Everyone loves the trade..... but Ham has to go naturally into Anti Howie mode... it's a reflex for him

If you were following along around here you’d know I’ve brought up Booker several times. So my thoughts are mostly revolving around that we trade an interior Dline that was going to be a good part of our rotation this season. Talked about him last year as a player that was good…but just couldn’t get very much of an opportunity in that stellar rotation we had. Booker has been starting TC early on until Carter got out there. We gave up a quality player…so better have received a quality player in return. Is that not fair enough to expect here?

We know .It was about the 16 million, yet you claim there was "more" to it and I'm saying no there wasn't. What "more" would that be?

Still waiting on which teams are "finesse" RB teams

OMG we gave up our 7th string DT... Rosie sucks... Siri sucks,.... maybe Hurts can get the new CB playing well.... my neighbor's lawn isn't growing well.. maybe Hurts can help with that too.

Booker was starting before Carter started suiting up this TC. Guess you just aren’t very aware of the quality player we surrendered in this trade. Booker was known for a real quick get off the snap. Fangio got him in for goaline and such situations. Raiders fans were discussing whether the CB we got in return was even going to make their squad this season.

Seriously....what planet do you live on where the #5 DT plays quite a bit?

LOL because he didn't fit what Pete Carroll wants/looks for in a CB

Hopefully eventually. Most reports I’ve come across have been very disappointed in Ty Robinson. But hey…not labeling a rookie as a bust because he’s getting stoned by Mailata all day either. Hoping there is somebody else stepping up hasn’t been noticed…other than by Fangio.

Mailata is pretty good?

A downgrade for sure from Booker. But…hopefully Hall or Young are looking good this TC. Robinson clearly haven’t been hearing that about so far. He might need a redshirt year it’s looking like.

He’s not done…bank on that. Hopefully not being forced over injury though.
