No Mas tried to credit you with observing this for a long time. Only took a few posts later to prove otherwise.

Answe the question posed, which teams are "finesse" teams? Can you answer a question without the deflection?

How about answering the question without the deflection? LIST WHICH teams are "finesse" at RB and highlight the post that "proves otherwise"

BVS underrated athlete 42.5 inch vert and a 4.4 speed coming out of college… also started his college career as a FB before switching to LB in his final two years.

Having a 6’2 230 pound guy who runs a 4.4 would definitely give us a bruiser RB option as well if we wanted to add those wrinkles

It would do that. Kind of odd though the vacillation between 2 totally different positions. I mean could he be a BU LB as well as a spot RB/blocker/STer. I'm not privvy to what they know. They will roster him based on whatever validation they arrive at. It would just be a shame though to waste a roster spot and lose and up and coming player to have that spot(like MJ). If we're planning on using him at RB/FB enough then we should see plenty of him in pre. If he's going to be a one trick gadget play(don't show your cards) guy we probably won't in my view. very interesting pre season and cut down coming. More interesting than lost years I can recall. Avery is kind of in this same boat.

IDK have they tried hm at TE? Slot? Edge? With that speed? Maybe he can't catch worth a crock IDK. He is just kind of a tweener with athletic skills that doesn't really fit any mold and why they can't seem to find a place for him. If they give him TOO MUCH responsibility, who replaces him? it's an interesting study of how this team works. I will be interested to see what they do(or don't do) with his talents and what his snap share will be if he makes the roster

Did you miss the part with me saying there never was a thought of picking up the fifth year option?

So it's the 16 AS I SAID(called it!!!! LOL) nothing more ,nothing less and nothing you "called". If it's not the 16 what other reason(s) do you have?

Booker is a good player who was really ready to play for us.

But he wouldn't have. That's the point. We let him go to a team where he has a chance to PLAY. Very beneficial to The PLAYER and he knows it too I'm sure. In return we got a guy who can compete for a CB job. I see no real downside to making this trade.

Why does AJ only stay for 2 more? Explain

Because Ham said so 🤣

Pretty odd then you don’t recall me talking about that for years and years

Didn't Say anything about you ... do you need acknowlegdement on everything... just said GB has been talking about us doing the opposite of the league for a while... why is everythign about you or a contest?

Everyone loves the trade..... but Ham has to go naturally into Anti Howie mode... it's a reflex for him

OMG we gave up our 7th string DT... Rosie sucks... Siri sucks,.... maybe Hurts can get the new CB playing well.... my neighbor's lawn isn't growing well.. maybe Hurts can help with that too.

Should have traded him for Reddick 🤣

I read this new CB is pretty decent. Maybe good enough to be a BU for Q? Or maybe good enough that we don't need to shift DeJean outside? Howie does things for reasons(most of which Ham cannot grasp)

1 hour ago, GreenbleedinNC said:

No, but why would Howie have anyhow? Nobody figured he would have, not because you "thought of it". It's not your invention. Stop trying "I called it". It's just smart business by Howie and kind of assumed the day we brought Dotson in. It's the 16,zero to do with "sucking up" or any other lame theory you come up with

There was no I called it..or any of that…it was simply put…never was a thought. Not sure what you’re even arguing against?

You’re missing the entire point…where to even begin to explain it to you?

Answer the question. Which teams are RB "finesse" teams? YOU brought it up so you should know. Then show me the post that "proves otherwise"

VanSumeren was named the Bay City Player of the Year as a senior at Garber High School after setting a state record with 85 receptions (1,259 yards, 13 TDs). Obviously this was high school but he can’t have terrible hands if he was setting a state record.

As for him playing other spots no clue but I’d image he only made the switch the FB because the team wants to utilize the position and it gives him a better chance at making the roster.

Sounds like the new CB should be in the mix to start outside with Adoree and Ringo…. He has starting experience and apparently played well in his snaps last year.

Worse case he should provide some solid depth at CB for us

Yeah, IDK. What you posted was why I thought they would try him at TE

He was injured for awhile. He looks at this trade as a chance to reclaim what was lost. He is very glad to be here

That’s exactly what I’ve been telling you has been working so well…Zig…while most are zagging. Now you’re putting it together.

And you missed the point that we HAVE been "zigging" while others Zag. I already put it together long ago, you are just late to the game. You aren't telling me anything I didn't already know

Even specifically going into detail about being a physical team to punch team in the mouth the more the rest of the league has turned to finesse.

So once again, which teams "turned to finesse"? You should know

You said(about Dotson) it wasn't just about the 16, it was other things(like sucking up?). What other things? IMO it was about the 16, nothing else. It was never a question because of the 16 5th year option. What else could it be?

Just wondering why with those credentials he was converted over to LB or RB/FB. Just seems fairly odd to me. I mean drop this guy in the slot sometimes as a TE/huge WR along with Dotson? Just weird to me. 4.4 speed and hands(as you pointed out because I didn't check thank you for that) that he wouldn't be used in some type of receiver role rather than be pulled away for a FB or LB position. Just a SMH thing for me

I mean(and I'm no pro) IMO this guy just sings out as a blocking TE, the type we covet. I must be seriously wrong(would not be the first time lol)

I’ve been out of the loop while you two bickered. So, help me out. What is the entire point?
