But I mean hell Dallas schemed up so much better in the RZ all those passing tds they had oh right they didn’t have any almost like if you dropping 7-8 guys in a short field kinda tough for guys to get open

Not sure what you mean at all. They rushed to score at the end of the half. For no reason, they still had 3 timeouts...relax and take your time.

I was referring to the drive toward the end of the game to run out the clock

I couldn’t believe Lamb had those drops. He had 7 drops all of last season. That part was crazy.

Wasn’t coming up with a real effective plan…we saw that much.

How about your Fangio coming up with something?

Watch the film. They weren’t designed rollouts…nobody got open…he just had to make it happen. Story of the game.

Watch the film... the amount of guys in coverage...without a spy on Hurts... that's the point. You watch the national guys they are saying if you use that coverage Hurts is going to burn you with his legs. That's a decision the D needs to make.

Plenty of NFL O have receivers getting open that aren’t spying the QB.(really weak attempt at an excuse)

The film showed: in the tough situations…it was up to Hurts to just make it happen.

I think we need to assess Calcatera as an NFL level player. His blocking not so hot... might be time to use the spread and run out of the 3 WR sets. He wasn’t exactly getting open either.

The film showed some nice running lanes for Hurts as defenders had their backs turned

It wasn’t so much on first downs…2nd and 2s. No. It was second and 8 from the goaline. Several behind the sticks third downs.

They turn their back very often in Man coverage.

Ben Van Sumerin might be out for the season. Haven’t heard any updates…but knee injury…you know the fears.

Granson did answer the bell

But even more serious like how we had a built in excuse for Hurts already before the game even happened but expecting perfection from the first time play caller who opened the game with 4 score drives lol

We’ve got to come up with some kind of O plan this season

Our star WR's aren't going to be happy with the stat lines produced in this game. I don't believe Lurie would be happy writing million dollar paychecks for 8 yards of offense(AJ). Hurts won this game with Barkley, but do we really want our QB getting into injury situations? We were 2 Lamb drops away from a possible loss. We didn't win, we escaped with a win. Dotson had the only WR catch worth noting. We need to do better.

Not to concerned with this yes needs to be improved but didn’t AJ miss like all camp with an injury didn’t really practice nothing… thought Smith missed a good chunk as well…. This will work itself out.

Once we get the outside passing game going with the WRs I did like what I seen from Geodart and getting him the ball on the inside…. Just need to get both going and the passing attack should be looking decent

I think we had plans for BVS which went out the window after the first play

Like the one that scored TDs on the first 3 drives?

I would like more players involved on who scores. We can't rely on Hurts and Barkley to be our entire offense. Since no one scored after the weather delay we won because we had the lead, if Dullaz had it we would have lost. We can thank Lamb for his 2 drops

Jalen Hurts had to out make happen. The plan was far from the reason.

The plan...the offense takes what the defense gives. That has worked sunce the bye week last year.

If the Defense wants to emphasize their LBs and safeties to stick back in coverage and they rush with 4... then take the easy running lanes.

As your favorite player says... his job is to win and not worry how it looks.

What we didn't see last night....any forced passes... no more he scrambled and steps out of bounds for a minus 2 yards ..he threw it away. He protected his body well.

If I could nitpick , perhaps a QB designed run would have opened up other things..perhaps he should have kept it a couple times at the end on a read option instead of having Barkley run into the heavy box.

Otherwise .. the end of the half for me is my biggest issue. Score at the end, run the clock down....amd you get the ball first 2nd half. Very simple game management.

Dotson catches and gets to the 26 yard line with 1:44 left and the clock running... why did we end up with 1:15 left and the ball at the 15? Why did we score with 51 seconds left.

Seems to me... you could snap the ball from the 26 with close to 1:04 left and run the next play with under 30 seconds.

30 seconds with 3 timeouts left is eternity to score from that part of the field.

Just bad clock management. All around...play call..Hurts, Barkley and everyone else.

You really have to go to the extreme to give Dallas 51 seconds with their 2 timeouts left at that point

That is true

Wasn’t because of a plan. It was Hurts completely just making it happen in unfavorable situations.

Very favorable to run when they rush 4 ..play man and even double cover deep...and there are huge running lanes.

That's your guy using his brain to take the easy yards.

Yeah ASG thought maybe AJ wasn't 100%. But he has so much talent even 80% should give him some stat line. Nice to see the TEs in play. That was kind of missing last year so possibly a nice addition by Patullo to the arsenal. Not everything was bad LOL

The one where they ran the clock out?

Or the one where they passed 4 out of the last 5 plays before they punted on the first drive of the 4th quarter that took off 6 plus minutes?

Which one?

Agree…the look on Siri face…seemed to confirm it was part of the gameplan for sure with a FB. So much…we kept with it…Granson stepped in.

I didn't see the "stop 'em cold" O line I'm used to. Hurts did ok throwing on the run, but it's not something I want to see every week. If Parsons had played it could have been worse. Thanks for trading him away Jerruh
