April 18, 20241 yr Author https://www.pff.com/news/draft-2024-nfl-draft-scouting-report-oregon-iol-jackson-powers-johnson I like him better than Barton

Not so much backloading. But... you see " backloading " in the sense that we eventually have to pay. I'm seeing it done in a way that is after the " guaranteed " money is done. That leaves opportunity for 2 things. 1 cutting a player who isn't performing 2. Restructure to bring down the cap hits even more. Using leverage from the team perspective.

April 18, 20241 yr Author So I am curious about this Krystian Boyd kid. he said he had too many visits and couldn't fit us in for a meet. The media made it sound like a snub which it was not. So then my question is(he seems like a round 5 guy) why would a round 5 pick have that many meetings that he could not find any time for a contender????

So he’s very high on the list for teams to need to finish evaluations on.
April 18, 20241 yr AJ has a non guaranteed salary of $30 mil in 2026. That's opportunity to either save $30 mil of cap space... or redoing the deal to save probably $25 mil of cap space while he gets locked in longer. That's much better business having that flexibility.

April 18, 20241 yr Author 4 minutes ago, cunninghamtheman said: We understand it comes with the territory of you providing 330 mock drafts. Because you can't do one. You just name every player in round 1, then say "called it"
April 18, 20241 yr Author 1 minute ago, cunninghamtheman said: Not sure I read a single one ever Don't care if you do or not because it takes time to do. It's easier just to name the top 30 players and say it's ":likely" we take one
