Every game was close and pushed out players to the limits physically. Patricia took over and limited the rotation even more. Our team looked whooped and worn out down the stretch completely.

Correct... because we had by far the more difficult and physical schedule.

I didn’t say 10.7 Pollard move was good. That’s you and your agenda. I said not signing him to top dollar long term contract was wise. Actually a pretty large divide in the two points.

So I have to go back to quote you now?

I thought we set franchise records on O??? That's what someone keeps telling me. If that is the case, you lose games it's because of your defense. So IDK what you define as "better".You have different schedules. I suppose you would know if you compared common opponents and had the identical players playing

They had the number one O league wide. We had Hurts break Franchise scoring records.

Yet we dropped 4 PPG average. Schedule must have been cake to pull that off

Yep…because you are trying to spin my words. Getting rid of Zeke was crucial move they needed to make. Making the mistake of opening up the vault for Pollard long term would have been stupid.

38-9(if I recall) in TB kinda tells me a different story

Right, this is the ball hogging you can't seem to admit to. How many TD's from Hurts were tush pushes?

Despite those"Franchise scoring" records, we still dropped from 29 PPG to 25

I love that Hurts is historically all time great at converting short yardage. Completely a positive for me. Ball hog all day long putting the ball in the end zone as far I’m concerned. Scoring TDs is the name of the game. Hurts scored more than anybody ever for us. With a HC that has proven to not be good running the O and a first time OC we had to fire. That was something very special that happened last season.

Pollard was All In and they were vetting him. Wisely used that to figure out he wasn’t the guy. Saquans a much more all in move.

Wisely spent $10.7 mil?  On a guy that they didn't know was worth it?

That's a brutal way to run a business.

You never recover that money.  The alternative was to sign a Montgomery type ...you take a 3 or 4 mil cap hit, and you can use the other 7-8 mil for other stuff...or keep the cap space.

Your logic of " vetting" a guy you already had for 4 years by committing huge cap hit...is plain bad business.

I hope Barkley is not ignored at the GL now. I hope they mix things up inside the 5,with TE -passes, Passes to Parker, tush pushes and using Bark

We lost our good coach. Not sure how you keep missing and ignoring this factor. Steichen and first time OC. Made a massive difference in our season.

They why didn't the PPG go UP or at least stay the same from the previous year?

You mean the O line right????. I could score with that O line and being pushed by Goedert LOL

I thought it was a franchise scoring record? How can that be when your PPG DROPS?. It was a record for ball hog Hurts, nobody else

Terrible business decision and cap management all leading to a team that has been neck and neck with us the whole time. Should tell you a bunch about how our franchise is being run.

I GTG to the bank. back later

You don't " vet" players by giving them huge money first.  Better off committing then losing the player.

Look at the Eagles... Wentz and Reddick.   I know this is difficult because the concept of dead money being used as a positive tool to get more cap space is something you don't grasp or choose not to due to your anti Howie agenda...

But let's look at those two deals vs Tagging Pollard and Dak.

Both the Eagles moves... like $54 mil of dead money...but actually got back cap space.... also got back a 1st, 3rd and another 3rd possibly a 2nd round pick in return.

Dallas...$43 mil to " vet"  Dak got hurt,  they paid him anyway at 2021 market value instead of 2019.   Pollard left anyway.

No picks back... still needed to replace Pollard and don't have a QB locked up after this year.

"Vetting" by paying is bad business.   Do it early, then you can get out of a bad deal if needed... if it hits, then you can keep on resigning the player early to keep cap hits low.

Idk... you think neck and neck...let's look at 2016 on...  that's when Howie took over... and Dak has been a Cowboy

1. Superbowl wins

2. Superbowl appearances

3. Playoff wins

4. Playoff appearances

Where do you see neck and neck?

Yeah what were you going to do? Hand it off to Gainwell or Swift? Call a guy whatever you want that sets our franchise record for scoring TDs. I’m all for it!

That’s where they have just been pathetic. Terrible coaching holding them back postseason. But we held them back also by forcing them to play on the road in the postseason every other year we switch winning the division with them. But when you actually look into things: it’s been one game difference each season to win the division. If you don’t win the division you’re playing every playoff game on the road. One game difference between us and the cowboys for the division every year.

Rosie was in charge before that but lost his job basically. This was the start of Part Deux of Rosie.
