My thinking going into the championship season was all optimism relying on his far Moore was able to advance in a single season. All really mattered was where the O was at …at the end.

Moore so much Moore(sorry had to) experienced than Mannion. So much of the optimism surrounding Mannion….really applied very equally to Moore. Except Moore had Moore NFL QB experience while also so much more coaching experience.

All that just common sense wise…adds up to expectations clearly pointing towards Mannion needing more time(all the varying items you want to put on that list). Mannion never even called plays before. Never run a TC or his own O.

Oh yeah…missing Stout to lean and rely on.

Here’s the holdup. It was widely believed what we needed was top experienced proven OC…to be a top contending looking to win a championship now. Dabol…McDaniel…instead went opposite route failing to acquire what was needed for short term top success. Went with high upside ceiling potential…in a completely developmental OC hire. Some actual refer to it as hired an O scheme…as much as anything.

Heavy majority of Eagles faithful I observed were clearly focused on believing we needed the top proven experienced O mind. That was for a reason. Not what happened.

That top proven O mind would have had the juice to keep Siri at bay…like Fangio does with him. Heck…Fangio has the juice enough he has say over whole franchise. Rosie was getting him LBs. Drafting his DBs high in the draft.

Fangio was getting Jalyx Hunt. Rosie obviously felt he wasn’t league wide ranked nearly as high as Fangio. Rosie maximized by trading back adding some picks for his own self satisfaction being forced to draft Hunt so high.

Fangio single handed gave us LBing. Targeted Baun who’s been nothing short of phenomenal. Drafting of Q,DeJean and Hunt I look at as nothing short of organization defining. That was all Fangio!

Our DC proven he trumps the entire analytics department as well as scouting department. Supposedly Rosie was very advanced league wide in his commitment towards analytics. Including financial investment in that department. Fangio….just plain and frankly described that analytics department as misguided. Reading and looking at the wrong elements. What role did our scouting department play in drafting Q, DeJean and Hunt? Already been confirmed Fangio singled out correcting entire organization here about Baun. Rosie whole crew targeted Baun as Edge player still. We’re ready to sign him for that reason. Fangio in place brought football clarity. Baun will be a fantastic weapon as off ball LB.

Rosie having Baun at Edge like others before in the league tried and could too narrow minded envision….would have resulted in failure. Wasn’t that good at Edge. Nowhere near the boneheaded like plan switching out Reddick for whomever that top FA one year wonder from the Jets was? He already retired I saw.

Bryce Huff(haha actually had to look up the rides name to remember it…that bad of a move). Difference between Rosie spending big money on Huff then targeting Baun at Edge….versus Fangio stealing Hunt in the draft while envisioning All Pro Baun placed in his actual position.

Completely organizational changing…in best possible manner. Analytics department, D coaches, scouting department, HC, GM…..answer beating all is purely hiring Fangio.

Looking at the season schedule could make an easy case to target the need being as early as week 15 facing the Seachickens. Then Texans, Niners and Giants. Not expecting this season to go super smooth. These last four games we’ll probably be fighting for our season lives…season defining.

Too easily could sink 1-3 finish here. At this point in time don’t believe we even would be considered favorites in these games facing Seachickens, Texans and Niners. If we hit another late season skid….can’t even stomach levels of repeating Siri’s Collapse(while way too many reasons point towards exact proven history repeating itself this season). Go on a losing streak then injure key starters not even honestly committing that last game to beat the Gmen. Try to bust the funk…while instead just exposing top players to unneeded damage…while losing anyway being the disgusting part.

Any reading or logic anybody can supply as to how Mannion could possibly be ready to face Seahawks or Texans top Ds?

Be great if the need wasn’t really until the postseason like we’ve experienced most seasons under Hurts. Pretty much only were forced to go on that run his first season starting…2021. That impossible feat…digging out of the Siri created whole at that. 2021 Eagles completely were lacking in talented personnel. You know….that overmatched talent wise squad that should have needed to rely on early season luck and success to have sniffed making the playoffs. Oline and Hurts willed that squad there…against all odds. Never could have been competitive versus Brady Bucs that postseason.

But my predictions are more rain and cloudy for the start of this season. Really expecting the season ending stretch being crucial for Eagles this year. Whole thing relies on will Mannion be given enough of a leash to grow and develop? All history surrounding Siri says: no chance. He’s short termed every HC decision. Exactly leading to issues surrounding our O and Best Ever Franchise QB especially.

ESPN just did an article about Sean Peyton exact acknowledgement about a whole organizational plan for Nix to succeed. Exactly quoting him describing this…exactly opposite of Siri’s treatment towards Hurts. Heck….been widely accepted fundamental football NFL knowledge surrounding not short cutting organizations franchise QB. No coach been really allowed to not prioritize franchise QB. Excuse originally placed erroneously that Hurts second round QB…facing such an impossible situation and task in 2021 for any QB to have survived. Rosie hard core scouting Pickett hot and heavy proven out. Which he was going to have needed to trade up for to even have achieved.

Lurie, least knee jerk reacting NFL owner, which we actually are paying for here with Siri. But even Lurie was going to need to fire Siri before year one season’s end. Trainwreck unqualified start to Siri career here as HC. Quez and Reagor as starting WR. A RB? Most all here labeled inadequate. Smitty coming in as a rookie only actual capable athlete in that WR room. Smitty taking back over this season. Plenty reason for pessimism with this move even still. Just completely expecting DCs commiting to Smitty seeing double team attention always. Wonder if Texans or Seahawks will though? But….2021 wasn’t even this much higher level version that Smitty has achieved. Lowest completely inexperienced rookie Smitty that 2021 team achieved playoffs relying on. Were going to trade up in the next draft to invest heavily in Pickett….well that was Rosie future plan…so only locked in that terribly wrong direction if Rosie somehow survived to GM one more season. Complete downfall of Eagles organization…instead of greatest ever success occurring since. No way Rosie possibly would still be here if after 2020 Hurts didn’t achieve the impossible. Whether fired right after 2021…wouldn’t have been hesitation if following up all that he invested our franchise straight into Pickett. Even Steelers figured out how bad a draft choice Pickett was in record time. Has anybody given up on a first round QB quicker than Steelers did with Pickett?

I read we looked at a few, forgot their names and not going to look them up. Could add a depth one as camp cuts start, a PS stash?? I know the O will look different but I think Bark will once again do his share of damage. Still like to see Tank more, but only so many snaps to go around. Elliott better not fail us. "Unreliable" is not a good look. Somehow I quit another fantasy league but it picked for me anyway so it never removed me when I clicked on "leave". So now I have 2 teams I never participated drafting in 🤣. I'm not even going to LOOK until I am ready. Not thrilled with the comp picks either, I will be effing with this team all year too. Still fun to play, but more fun when you WIN
