You have a little bit of everything as the problem. For sure OL could do better. For sure there are plays where Barkley seems to take the wrong lane. For sure we see plays that need to be adjusted at the line. What I believe we have seen more since last year.... we have one of the three things go wrong more. in 2024 when plays didn't work it seemed we had multiple issues on the same play.

For example... give me 15 run plays. The OL messes up 3 times, the play call needed to be adjusted 3 times... and the RB took the wrong lane 3 times. It seems since last year... that's 9 plays going wrong because we are making one mistake ... in 2024... maybe both the play call and the blocking stunk on the same plays more often. So lets say for example it's the same 3 plays... well now out of the 15 plays we only messed up 3 instead of 6. So now the RB has more opportunity to make the right play. With Barkley, the more opportunity he has to hit a hole, eventually he breaks it. He was in the secondary so much in 2024, that he was able to get opportunity to read how hte DBs would react, now not so much, so when he gets there he is having less success. in 2024, once he got 10 yards past the line, good chance he was going to break it.

When you use your cadence to get the defense to show....and then don't make an adjustment and they come right in using 3 rushes vs 2 blockers... to me that's QB needing to adjust the play.

We see this way too often. The OL absolutely has some issues...but on plays where it's absolutely CLEAR that the defense has more bodies than the offense, the play needs to be adjusted. We don't see our QB do that

And it's ironic... 4 verticals for a TD to Goedert... last year that was seen as a stupid play call...from the exact same spot and distance needed as last year. It's amazing how the play looks different when the QB actually is decisive and throws the ball where it should.

If you look at the fame tape you'll see several times the Redskins had 7 and sometimes 8 in the box.

Either Hurts isn't seeing this or he doesn't have the authority to audible out of a play call that isn't likely to work

It was humid yesterday, but obviously games where it's been worse. first real game so the weatheer can be a factor via the stamina. Which I thought our D held up fairly well under the circumstances.

As for Dallas... I believe they only had 5 possessions. scored 3 TDs. So it's all relative. We had more possessions in the first half of the 3rd quarter than they had all second half. You gotta stop the run or it puts you at a huge disadvantage.

I'm just feeling a rerun of the early Patullo days when the O line had to have a meeting with Siri. I'm getting those same vibes that Siri will let this go for only so long. We MUST have the running game returned to dominance and later I hope Lemon will be another weapon to worry about. 1-2 more weeks and we should see him emerge. I would like him more ready before the Bears game

In the PS everyone was raving about Ty Robinson. Why then didn't he get some of the mid field reps on that last drive so the primary DTs weren't gassed.

Either him or someone else needs to be able to step up

That was a bash on Hurts last year too. That after seeing D's he would not change the play if it was outside his comfort zone. He needs to expand that comfort zone because we have talent all around him

Total of 8 drafts.... lol. 1 dynasty .... 1 guillotine .. 6 normal leagues. Have high score in a few (which wins $$$) and opportunity to win all of them if things go well tonight.

The guillotine league you might like... 18 teams we draft... then the lowest score gets eliminated each week with their players going on the waiver wire. Each team gets $1000 of bid money to use for waivers. The lowest score this week has AJ, Tuton and Coker as guys that may get picked up. He has Kyler Murray as the QB too. That's how it goes in this type of league...one bad week with injuries and poof.

I believe we should extend Goedert if he would play another year. Stowers seems so lost they put him on the PS. He's not making the NFL transition. Cut/trade him and draft ASG's grandson 😁

I said before I wanted Mike Mayer from LA who will now assume TE1, so I'd like to see what he can do, but it's LA after all LOL

I have 6 teams, went 5-1 even though "they" said C grade. I pounded the 2 A grade teams this week in 2 of them. I scorched the supposed "top" team in my first PPR league

I'm working on the oldest granddaughter now. She works in a casino in Gulfport Miss. They're supposed to wear the jersey of their favorite team on Sunday so I gave her my old Mathis Jersey.
