October 12Oct 12 Michael Penic...looks like Joe Montana mentally...compared to watching Hurts. Changing the play etc. Seems they can't blitz him... I don't see that from Hurts.

How long are they going to bust before they all turn into AJ's?What call are you talking about...the kickoff?
October 12Oct 12 Author Always enjoy watching Henry play. He can slash with the best or carry a pile for 5 yards

October 12Oct 12 Author Ok I will correct myself,I watched the vid again and Siri said " I didn't make the RIGHT decision". So in other words, he did make the call to kick it inbounds. Just wanted to rectify my error/misstatement

He would take the blame for it regardless even if it was the ST coach who called for it. I think of last year against GB I think we took a deep shot on like 4th down Siri took the fall for it even though it was later told to be a Hurts decision at the LoS altering the play
October 12Oct 12 I also get Siri is the HC and ultimately everything should fall back on him at some point as well

October 12Oct 12 Shipley partial tear in his foot... out multiple weeks. So we will be seeing Pierce and Steele until Barkley comes back

I assume he would make the calls on timing decisions which have been horrible this season. He is playing like all the starters are in, not with the evidence he sees during games. He is really poor at adjusting to things. yeah you can read your analytics page, but decision need to be made with some "touch" and awareness and I give Siri an F on that. Like you know you have a patchwork O line and 4th string RB and you go for it on a long 4th and 1? Maybe, if you have everyone in place, but he is reading analytics based on starters, not 4th stringers. After 6 years he should be in tune with what's happening in the game not just inhuman stat pages. JMO

LolWell unlike "some people" I man up and correct my errors, not argue about it with myself for 42 posts LOL. With the bonehead decisions made by Siri nearly every game, perhaps he needs to hand that off as well? I mean Siri seems to have "game flow" issues. He's going to flow out of Lurie's office soon unemployed if this continues. That reel I posted echoed my thoughts "Siri is a leader of men" You can lead yeah as those "scrub" guys played hard, but were rewarded with crap calls. They really deserve better. Siri gets guys to play for him, but he is going to lose them if he keeps shooting us in the head. Some discipline would help to. Trotter knowing he was being counted on getting kicked out on the first play is ludicrous. So both Siri and the players need to kick their own asses and play like men not pee wees. As far as Hurts, still disappointing, but I will say he seems to have cleaned up his own former bonehead calls and decisions, however he still has terrible field vision and that bugs me. Anyway, not throwing in the towel yet. We need to get players back, we have so many hurt it's crazy. So once again I will buck everyone else and say these starters need to play a series or 2 in pre season games because it seems they are not in game shape week 1 no matter how many workouts they do. if they get hurt in pre, they would have gotten hurt week 1 and you have more time to react as far as getting other players in. I understand injuries happen and you can't plan for them but the soft tissue injuries I think would be reduced if they were stretched more in pre season. I know I will take heat for saying this, but it needs to be done in my view. Chips smoothies seemed to help also and we should bring those back

I work cheap and I can play like crap for alot less. Think of the savings!!!!!😁

Chips smoothies seemed to help also and we should bring those backLocal flavor..still not agreeing with coaches decision... but some of these Hurts stans are coming around. " I'm not saying Hurts didn't do his part, but I expect extraordinary things from an extraordinary player" this is Hugh Douglass. Big Hurts fan.He is starting to get it. It's not about blaming Hurts, it's about him not being the type of QB to raise the play of the team. A difference maker for what he is getting paid. They spoke about the time management on the last drive leading up to the FG. Apparently Goedert was open in the middle of the field where he threw to Lemon who ran out of bounds to stop the clock for Jax. The way he pawns off decision making and his ability to change things. This is my issue... forget the actual passing, I'm seeing him make incorrect reads or not adjust to what's happening. We see him handoff on a read option or keep it...and it seems to be the wrong read. He sees 3 rushers vs 2 blockers and doesn't adjust protection etc. These things add up over the course of the game. You aren't a robot, at this level the QB needs to be in control. But his stans act like he is a genius when he adjusts a play that works ...once per month??? Come on man.Penix was making audible calls last night against the Baltimore blitz all night. It's the job of a QB. This is a problem for a 7 year QB if he can't do it.
October 12Oct 12 A caller.. long time Hurts stan... was on the phone ripping him pretty bad and saying " he gotta go" and to be honest seems more of that from his former stans.
