Didn’t invest in Cb went out traded for slay paid for Bradberry…this is jus the recent ones LB neglected so is going out to spend at LB or draft high is a classic Howie move Would be reasonable and smart moves as I see it
January 21, 20242 yr 5 minutes ago, joemas6 said: Goes much further than Howie. Hams favorite coach Andy Reid... "Dream Team" spending money galore everywhere...back up CB... Ronnie Brown, Steve Smith, Vince Young...4 DEs...consecutive draft picks on the interior of the DL for 4 years in a row.. Yet neglect the interior of the defense. 2 rookie S....and rookie Casey Matthews at LB next to a bunch of other ham and egg LBs. This is what you all seem to miss...this is the organizational philosophy Lurie has from Banner/ Reid. He has Howie here to carry this out. If it was OK " we have a defense built to play with a lead" ...that stupidity spewed back in 2011....then why different now? We aren't getting Queen...BG you are 100% correct on saying spending would be " overcorrection" for the Lurie Eagles... What we hope for...is they hit on the low investment LBs. Ham doesn't like it....then blame Lurie's #1 football man.... Andy Reid. That's absolutely the guy whose philosophy Lurie follows there. Andy Reid went to KC and has drafted RBs and S. Took my stud LB I was high on Bolton even. Remember him?

The only connection for Cooter to the Birds I could come up with was Cooter's relation to Steichen. Which doesn't hold much weight.
January 22, 20242 yr 30 minutes ago, joemas6 said: Only 2 QBs from NFC? I thought it was 3 from each? So Dallas and SF had more pro bowlers on offense than the Eagles... I'll have to look Bolton drafted 58... late round two... that's absolutely the range that Banner, Reid, Lurie, Howie would start looking at LB. Haven’t drafted a LB that high since Kendricks
January 22, 20242 yr 23 minutes ago, joemas6 said: Pro bowl for Eagles offense... Lane, Dickerson, Kelce, Swift and AJ For SF offense ... Williams, Kittles, CMC..... their QB For Dallas offense... Lamb, Martin ... their QB Dak and Purdy both make pro bowl....combined they have the same amount as the Eagles... who didn't have a pro bowl QB. Forget about the 2 alternates... and then Smith and Goedert. Pro Bowl isn’t a great standard to make a point from. Dickerson didn’t have a very good season even. AJ had his best season. Smitty had his best season. Swift had his best season. The biggest positives came out of this season. I give tons of credit to Shannahan for being an offensive mastermind. Even gotta give McCarthy tons of credit on his best regular season coaching. Dak and Lamb were great this regular season. Our coaching was terrible. So it’s pretty cool we still had guys grab honors over coming the bad scheme and playcalling.

January 22, 20242 yr Just now, joemas6 said: Out coaching was good enough for 7 offensive players to be pro bowl or alternate... plus Smith and Goedert... should have been easy for Hurts to beat out Stafford. We had talent. Didn’t have coaching

January 22, 20242 yr As obnoxious as you have been the last two years....and for the first few years of Lane's career with Ziggy and the roads etc. When Hurts falls on his face...which he is going to do looking at his limited skills outside of running... you will absolutely get the obnoxious treatment back. I'm patient... I can wait a a couple years.

January 22, 20242 yr How many games did AJ or Smith miss in comparison. No QB had anywhere near what Hurts had...not even close when looking at OL and weapons.
