It succeeds or fails on his play. Getting Bark,CJG back adding a decent slot threat. Can't see it being worse than last year We’ve had a Pro Bowl RB the last two years. I believe Saquan is better than both. But how much more can you really expect to be upgrading from Pro Bowl level there? That’s the optimistic point of view. The pessimist would point out the massive amount of carries Saquan has toted on his body and his not small injury history.
June 16, 20241 yr Just how much can we pump up bringing Ceedy Duce back? I mean it was dumb to have let him go in the first place. Especially just so we could throw all that money at Bradberry instead. But when has Ceedy Duce been capable of suiting up for more than half a seasons games even? He’s a playmaking S….when he’s not injured. Can hunt the ball. But has terrible angle of pursuit judgement….isn’t strong tackler. Tough traits to have in your last line of defense as a S. The fact that he’s an upgrade should be very telling.
June 16, 20241 yr Added Zach Baun becoming a default starting LB. Hasn’t had a season with over 22 tackles to his credit even yet as a vet. He’s supposedly stronger in that area than the part of the job involving coverage.

June 16, 20241 yr Devon White’s coach benched him saying I’d prefer a guy two steps slower that is going in the right direction.

Kelce will be MISSED but that has ZERO bearing on how Jurgens will be and he sat behind Kelce to learn the ropes. Nuances need to be learned, but I see no "drop off". he should be solid at C. RG in flux as it was last year,so that's a wash. So 3 losses and how may gains? Barkley was a downgrade? CJG is a downgrade? 2 top draft picks on defense are downgrades? Getting a decent(if not stellar) slot WR is a downgrade from Quez? Pickett was a downgrade from Mariota? What else can Howie get that would make you happy????? Cox lead all DT in snaps long time All Star player for us. He’ll be missed. Actually believe we should maybe talk him out of retirement later in the season if we actually did develop into a contender. You actually just stated "no drop off from Kelce to Jurgens”? How could you even possibly type that with a sane mind? Yes Quez stunk. Yet you blame Hurts for that from the previous season. Or how about washed up Julio that could only run one route? Or blocking OZ? I guess there wasn’t a need for a capable player that actually was on the field. We’ll just wash over that because we have two strong guys up top at WR.
June 16, 20241 yr If it wasn’t one of those other WRs it was Stoll. Those 38 yards receiving last season really scared our opponents. Let them play free knowing we had a player out there that wasn’t a threat….EVERY SINGLE DOWN.
June 16, 20241 yr Jalen Hurts is number one in retail sales of any player. Everybody that isn’t me must agree with your statement that he done so bad they’ve run out to buy his gear. Hahaha great timing on the players association Releasing these figures. Number 1!!!!!!

June 16, 20241 yr Just Hurts ball hogging snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in OT shootout game versus a very tough opponent.

Your the only one that didn’t think he played terrible majority of his TDs were tush plays his running was lack luster overall and he wasn’t a great passer on top of way to many turnovers. And I was saying that at the start of the year when he was being overhyped by fans like you for his poor play.
June 16, 20241 yr 3 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said: 37 points with him scoring the walk off TD. Man that guy sucked! Should not have needed 37 points if the O didn’t play like crap for majority of that game. Throwing an int that lead to a TD, Fumble that led to a td on top of countless 3 and outs by the O. Not time mention the huge block FG after a 3 and out, and a key int in the 3rd that allowed us to take the go ahead score. Which the D followed up with a 3 and out the next series. What did our O do with that punt in 3 plays. But yup Hurts single handily led us back to win v the Bills just don’t talk about all the terrible he did that point us in the hole to begin with

Having an actual QB coach this year I believe should pay some quality dividends as well for Hurts.
June 16, 20241 yr Buffalo got the ball first in that game. Chewed up the clock so we didn’t get to touch the ball on O until five minutes left in the first. Hurts took us down and scored a TD. End of first quarter just on that….one possession each.
June 16, 20241 yr Buffalo drives down controlling the ball and kicks a field goal. Then Driscoll at RT gets owned by his man that tips the ball up for an interception. Turnover and stats negative play you are blaming on Hurts.
June 16, 20241 yr Bills drive again killing the first half into us blocking their field goal. With one minute to go Hurts is driving us then Gainwell screws up causing a fumble. Which is the second turnover of the game that went down on Hurts stats wise. Bills score a TD 17-7. Not really sure what you wanted Hurts to do in that first half to have changed much of anything? Still ended up putting up 37 with the walk off scramble winning TD in OT.
June 16, 20241 yr Driscoll got owned resulting in his guy tipping the pass getting intercepted. Gainwell completely screwed up causing the fumble. Hurts Haters just bash Hurts for being charged with two turnovers. Neither one his fault very clearly.

I'm sure Bark will love it here because we don't need to ask him to be our whole offense. He can even take some 3rd downs off, imagine that!!!

IDK if there is a drop off from Kelce to Jurgens,I haven't seen a game yet but you have????? He still has things to learn, but at C either you can play the position or you can't and indications are they are fine with Jurgens, but I'm sure you know better. Players retire, it happens league wide, not just here. Pro Bowlers are not immortal. As far as "capable players" Hurts needs to make 4 reads not 1(WR,WR,TE,slot/RB. The plays to Zach, and even Julio/ Stoll were the CALLED plays with ONE read. Hurts needs to locate these guys when it's NOT the called play. His field vision/decision making is sub standard, especially in the middle of the field which he consistenly ignores for how long he has been our QB and he needs to step up now. This team has loads of talent and they make Hurts look good. Hurts is a RB who can throw, now that needs to change, and I'm sorry you are the only one who refuses to see that
