So you admit Moore got Dak playing, yet deny he can do that with Hurts who BADLY needs it. Thanks for proving my point and yourself wrong
June 23, 20241 yr Author 30 minutes ago, cunninghamtheman said: So everybody here obviously knows how high I’ve been on Jalen Carter a year before he even entered the draft. But the entire book on Carter is still holding true. He’s unbelievably gifted beast! Our second best pass rusher this year I’d say behind Sweat. Jumping to an understanding amongst this whole group of his upside talents….a ceiling maybe we haven’t ever seen can witnessed in a player before at DT. Or if we are now in a more full blown 3-4 is he a 3-4 DE? They key to Fangio, and most good NFL Ds is how they’ve hybrid and blended traditional 3-4 and 4-3 approaches. This has been facilitated by Nickle and Dime personnel playing the majority of the downs anyway. Fangio and experienced D coaches get very matchup week to week specific is how I honestly view things from a scheme standpoint. Anyway …getting off topic from my point about Carter. His negative potential side that brought red flags alert seemingly to many. Actually pretty sure all have been aware of his potential pitfalls. He didn’t really work or try hard before coming to the NFL. Not showing a love or real commitment to this profession. Remember we were and have been considered the most favorable spot for him to stay on track. These Georgia Bulldogs along with Fletch as his mentor. Did he max out his levels of physical fitness and work study week to week for us? Us fans aren’t privy to really being knowledgable about his week to week game study preparations. As far as we know he was just living on a Cliff Notes version supplied to him by Fletch. He needs to be hungry and devoted to this area during the season. The case can still apply to his potential negative rap sheet as far as he clearly hit the wall last season. He started off showcasing his ability…which I’m assuming by this point everybody here is now totally agreeing with me on. But nowhere near had his physical endurance and NFL season long production. Now to be fair there is a whole familiar term of The Rookie Wall. He slammed into it! He has to do all the pro things to have his body prepared for what is such a long grind. A guy that can come out blockbuster early in the season doesn’t do but so much for me….attempting to communicate that late season/playoffs is heavily weighted on my scales. Point here is unfortunately Carter still checks this negative box clearly. This was for us in his most ideal situation….after a huge wake up call threatening his career this past offseason. I’m worried this could be the highest he actually buys in and works at his game. He got shuck by the whole scandal of his car racing…fell in the draft….which could have actually been much worse in his situation. Which leads to his scouting book negative of off field decision making and problems. He got off some situation revolving around stealing while here. The incident was erased. Was it just because of whom he is? Or because he didn’t do it? Unfortunately I’d have to say either way….he still hasn’t erased that scouting belief of him and his off field decisions. Short version: We just had Carter in what could prove to be his most favorable situation to get his attention and be coachable. Even with that setup the red flags still are a concern. Kid has the most unbelievable talent. Will he choose to have a great HOF career? Or will he ride by collecting paychecks delivering a Jadeveon Clowny-esque career…or worse? EVERYONE was high on Carter??? OH I forgot, you had to "call it". Why do you demand he grows after "slamming the wall" but you won't do that with Hurts? Both guys need to put the work in and improve. Hurts "head game" gets no better no matter how much he can leg press
June 23, 20241 yr Author https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-ranking-top-10-offensive-coordinators-2023 Guess hiring the #2 OC according to PFF is a fail for you? Apparently the "laughable BS" is laughing all over you

Hurts you know all day every time he’s going to put the work in…not even a question with him.
June 24, 20241 yr Jalen has been having extra practice time with Saquan multiple time. Just had the tall rookie for some extra practice. You know QB1 is going to put in the work.

Extra leg presses won't fix that

I'm glad they are getting their timing down. That should be in place by now

I wish Jaworski, Cunningham,McNabb, Vick, Foles and Wentz had what Hurts has to work with ... brutal OLs... pathetic WRs... Josh Adams at RB. Barkley, Goedert, AJ,Smith and multiple all pro OL... never been close to this for any other QB The front office had to do this after drafting Hurts and getting rid of the previous coach and QB. It's what annoys me about the front office.. why did it take this long to figure out instead of giving the other QBs some awful teammates???

Tell me how "taking it upon himself to help Johnny"(we have coaches and other WR's for that) and working with teammates(which every Q has done since there was organized football) makes him a better decision maker and gives him better field vision. I'll wait. Of course we never can get an answer out of you without 14 pages of diversions
