July 9, 20241 yr 4 minutes ago, joemas6 said: Forget the money... which of Simmons or Adams do you think will come in as the humble backup? Byard was a disaster last year....coming in and trying to be a coach. Is it coincidence things went South when he got here? Do you think they make a decision to bring something like that in again....a safety with an ego thinking he is the best and knows it all? Moving on... Jamal Adams very clearly would be much more flexible to fit in. Plus I’d believe he’d view this S room as one he could thrive in becoming the best of the bunch.
July 9, 20241 yr Author Why did we bring in Bark since we already had Gainwell ? LOL. I mean we should start the guys we already had right?

July 9, 20241 yr 5 minutes ago, joemas6 said: ??... my calendar says 2024. Why do we care about 2022? Be very telling if you…or in this case FL believed Hurts was the best QB in the league in 2022. Like that article very clearly stated first off before it went sideways after.

What are you trying to accomplish? Simmons is think would be only taking a starter position to sign. Adams would be more flexible to fit in and have to prove himself. Which I think he totally would and could do for us.

Teams caught up with our stale and predictable O. This stuff matters for any player…no matter how much you try to ignore this obvious situation that transpired.

I see Adams as a very nice complimentary S to CGJ and Milk Check.
July 9, 20241 yr 9 minutes ago, cunninghamtheman said: Both I’d say would be the best S on our roster. So that's the issue... you would say that. So safe to assume those guys would want to start. We have our starters at S. After Byard disaster.... I don't think we bring in any back up that would have that idea of being a starter. For the player nor the fans like you.
July 9, 20241 yr 2 minutes ago, joemas6 said: You don't think he would prefer to go a place where he would start? Of course he’d prefer that. But he’s had a rough go of things the last two seasons that probably won’t afford him that opportunity. Not unless he wishes to hold out until during the season.

If he remains our clear cut third option….not looking promising. Shouldn’t have to explain how it will hold back being an elite O if we have such an obvious weak link out on the field consistently. Very limiting in the case of either of the top two WR not being able to suit up. Better fit....absolutely a positive.
