Kind of difficult to have a trading for a starter right before week one as part of your Master Plan. Yeah... Bradberry and CGJ ....Jay Ajayi... CMC... you have to get those guys in April... good point.

Exactly you don’t make a Master offseason plan based on your divisional rival will gift you a starting CB so late in the offseason. That’s pure beautiful luck. GM was wise to pounce on it. Unwise to double down and he’s still here though.

Similar to the " common sense" or " simple plan" the Eagles did this year. You have a defense full of holes... you need to make the bulk of your moves there...especially to get younger. Offense you have a stud young core... so you don't need to " build " anything, you simply add the biggest playmaker in Barkley. Not complicated...you don't worry about the napkins at a wedding.

July 24, 20241 yr The Master Plan would revolve around your current personnel and cap room. Evaluating all the players at all positions in FA and the draft. Formulating an offseason game plan based off that intel. Less about this individual player or signing and more about positional tiers.

He dillegently works the phones etc. But Howie was just luck. Trent Williams... just master plan by Lynch too.

Because you never were in my league. I did draft prep. Looked at multiple ways of constructing my roster each season. Usually formulated a plan based on things I picked up on. Certain areas I had a grouping at a certain position I could fill a little later and such. Your fly by the seat of your pants one player and one decision making process at a time would rely very heavily on luck.

Yea.... your defense sucks and needs a lot of work... your offense has 2 spots... one with a stud .... you get that guy.... the other without much out there in the slot. You are Moore... you take the OC job with this core...then they get you Barkley 21 minutes into free agency... you complaining?

Bradberry and Ceedy Duce are just great examples of huge holes in the Master Plan that season. So lucky we got their very key contributions. Both stunk in the SB however.

Not like you could go into a season with Gainwell as your starter…oh wait we did actually start last season like that.
