He has his HC mandate for his D won’t give up any big plays. I don’t know any other factor he plays on the D side of the ball. He does supposedly keep the D players competitively sharp with some high stakes Rock, Paper Scissors

See I'm consistent.  I believe the coach oversees stuff.  I can't give him credit or blame for specific details...I think that is the coordinators...good and bad.  Not only bad when it's Siri.

Do we all think Siri was involved in the offense more last year?  Absolutely. 

Just seems that you think Siri did so out of ego ... I think he did so out of thinking that Johnson needed the help.

You don't find it odd that the game management seemed off last year compared to the previous year and a half?   Clock stuff etc.

I see a coach having to invest too much time in an area that was insufficient and it made his game management suffer.

Now he goes back to what has worked... why would we complain?

Oh wait he gets emotionally charged and yells at Reddick while he’s trying to talk to his position coach. But positive wise when not under pressure Siri championed Reddick as The Closer during the press conference. So he plays his consistent role🙃

I don’t know if o actually put all the bad man agent on Siri. I actually probably blame Hurts on several occasions here. That TD near the end of the Commaders game. He didn’t get out of bounds before the half of the giants game. And the death decision on the long ball to AJ on fourth down against the Seachickens. The year before I actually can point towards Sanders in some bad clock management.

First thing I said was what you actually don’t like is the playcall. Then tried to explain to you why.

But you know even in Man coverage many times CBs can choose how they like to play things. So they could line up in a similar off fashion of 6 yards even in Man.

Doug...my favorite game day play caller for the Eagles...since Vermeil.

Year 1, disagreed with a bunch of game day management...game management stuff.  

Year 2, everything was on point...details stuff.  I absolutely believe he allowed Reich to have more control of the game plan etc,  and just then focused on calling plays that were given to him and managing the game.

He lost Reich,  either he had to do too much again or the other guys weren't good enough.

Similar to Siri....  Doug however wanted to keep his guys... and have the same process. Siri decided to get outside help because it didn't work.

Both had guys who didn't work...for whatever reason.   Doug wanted to keep those guys....Siri went looking for another Steichen.

I can see why one was fired and the other wasn't.   In fairness, I think Doug had a loyalty to those other guys... Johnson I don't believe ever was a Siri guy... he was a Hurts babysitter.

So easier decision to do the logical move of replacing the OC.

I’m not going to ignore all your thoughts here. And maybe you bring up some good points. Should always be a collaboration. I mean you have run game coordinator and passing game coordinator with a QB Coach also. 
   But regardless Siri and Pedey both wanted similar things really. Siri was forced to go outside…even AR was forced to get rid of McDeromtt and so on. But a little nugget I noticed Siri say in one of his presses was about how important it was for him to keep a coach or two that were loyal to him. Remember the Passing Coordinator specifically. Not a whole bunch of guys living and dying over riding with Siri.

Both went into tapping younger inexperienced guys that needed time to Groh. Pedey chose Groh…then Taylor. Rosie chose Johnson and Moore. If you want me to refer to Rosie as the FO being all inclusive then assume that’s what it means.

You put the basic sports elements... sensationalize some details etc...throw in some underdog stuff...intangibles, off the field drama... I think you would seriously  be excellent at it. 

Maybe get a little lucky with the red tape and the industry politics. 

But my former eye Dr. Was on channel 10 with Vai Sikahema after he wrote his sports fiction book.   I don't think he had any knowledge of the industry etc.

You could easily do it.

Reich was setup perfect as an OC. Don’t think he should have been HC. Steichen I really think is a HC. Definitely can’t say it’s something I called or anything. He flew under the radar as our coordinator coming in because it was Siris O. Gannon was the highly touted coach. But came away now understanding the opposite to be true. Wish we would have kicked Gannon on out if he wanted to leave. But really wish we’d  have kept Steichen.
