Hurts got shaken at the end of last year, complete meltdown. Could not lead his team, such a baby

He did get shaken. He took a beating last season. But that dislocated finger in the meaningless game right before the playoffs was just icing on top. That and the fact he lost his best weapon for no reason in that game also.

Yeah... which WR tandem would you say the other QBs had that was this good.  Or the OL... or 2 dudes that were good enough to make pro bowl at RB.

ALL AT THE SAME TIME?

Didn’t your boy Chipper break all that up?

You want those 5 instead of our group?

We don’t have 5. I’m talking about a third WR though anyway. You aren’t getting the value there. I just want us to get somebody more capable of doing something there…to take advantage of that ,what should be, easy matchup.

That fifth weapon is an unreal great matchup problem very routinely. You face a team that didn’t have three good cover CBs to begin with and the week you play them their dealing with an injury on top of that.  This is common NFL gameday matchup stuff. It shouldn’t be that hard to imagine what of our O didn’t roll out Stoll or Quez on the field and instead had a legit receiver?

What is your answer to these phone calls if they would call and ask to swap their guys for ours

You don't have to explain to me the 5th weapon.... GB and I have had this conversation for years, as I mentioned getting the TE from Buffalo and the WR from Seattle last draft as the stud 5th weapon.

Mentioned Indy with Stokley, Denver with Welker, Green Bay with Nelson, Pats with Welker, Vikings with Moss and both Carters...

3 stud WRs...all with stud TEs as a 4 matchup problems with what I say have been the best offenses that I have seen.   Even the old SD offense from the 70s.

That's a different conversation..it's obvious we can upgrade that..  my question is which team would you trade our guys for their guys...even swap and no hesitation?

You know…if the bar is striving to be an elite O and all.

Break what up?  The flag football team?   You would prefer those guys over ours now?

So...simple.

1. Already talked about the stud 5th weapon... why I was suggesting the TE from Buffalo or WR from Seattle last draft.

2.  The question is still out there for you.... which current NFL skill position group would you swap for ours without hesitation if their GM called with that offer?

We had a good TE with DJax, Maclin and Avant(or was it JMatt) with Shady at RB. But nobody had been pointing out our need for a GM to do a better job and make better decisions than me. Was telling you the whole time what was happening after 2017. Very obvious how the team was going nothing but down. Feels like a similar cycle we still are on now from 2022 SB.

I’m not talking about a TE. Need the WR. Not the same. Not for us.

I'll take this group all day long... especially the two WRs we have now...not even close for me.

I'll take Barkley...and I'll take Goedert too. As a combo... no where close.

Lol... you are the master....and never answering a direct question.

The WR is Seattle I mentioned last draft...the dude with the 2 names...Smith- something..   does he not play WR?

I'm talking EITHER.... the TE or the WR.  You trying to tell me with Hurts and Barkley... AJ and Smith....you wouldn't take Goedert and the TE from Buffalo and put that as your main group?  2 studs inside as pass catchers and the ability to block.

How do you match up defensively with that?  You go big and slow...or small and fast?

Haven’t even gotten there yet. You know the Niners have more.

Deebo, Aiyuck and Juan Jennings ..they drafted Pearsal to add to. McCaffrey and Kittle at TE

Did the Texans sit still with Nico and Tank Dell? Nope…added Stefon Diggs.

I’ll take it all…watching the best QB in franchise history. Now just imagine if we had a coach anywhere near AR!!!!!!

Steichen was looking pretty masterful in comparison to Siri obviously.

QB1 got us to the playoffs with Reagor and Quez as number two and three. Number one was just a rookie even.

I’m building my team around Hurts. No sense doing anything different.

They call you and offer that for our guys... what do you say?   I like that group myself... plus their almost 40 year old LT.

This for me would be the only group I would entertain a conversation without immediately thinking they would have to add draft compensation.

Now the question...  which OL is better?  Ours or SF?

And that's why I like our 10 better than any other group...even though it's really our 9.

You gotta do your own work some. I listed off a third of the leagues skill position players. Think I’ve put in plenty enough work answering questions for you.

Steichen as a head coach?   3rd in the powerhouse AFC south?

QB1 in 2019....got us to the playoffs with Greg Ward.

Right....you build the offense.  The best skill group you can.

I just identified our big missing need. Even explained how it’s arguably more important than the TE1 position for us. Give us a LB, keeping Reddick and that third WR and this team could make some real noise.
