Too early at 10 or 15

Well at 34 I could have waited and hoped to get him on the 4th rebound, but IMO draft 11,12 would have snagged him before he got back to me at 39

I took the chance and got Najee Harris at 39 I think who should be a big part of the Squeelers O

Absolutely not... again though.  Brush up on the rules,... or just watch so then your mind won't wonder as per usual.    " The gunner"   lol

A gunner in 10 yards before contact? I don't see it

New rules. If you can break through, you can take it to the house alot easier now. Kicker is the only guy left

Can you have 2 guys back or only 1? With 2 you can try the lateral maybe

I'm off to try 1 more practice draft. later

You don't have layers here.... again... other than... block the guy in front of you... block the guy to the right... block the guy to the left... pull ... what else do you expect here?

Think about it... while you try to go block the guy thats 4 guys away... he is going to move forward... there isn't going to be too much time to set up blocks.

AS THE VIDEO SAYS... WE KNOW YOU WATCHED THIS AND ARE SPEAKING FROM EDUCATED POINT OF VIEW.. not an ignorant one that wouldn't watch the video put out by the league....

It is supposed to simulate a play from scrimmage.

Cant say I’m really speaking from much of an educated point of view. Been watching football most all of my life. Tons of knowledge there. With this first time KO rules…I don’t have any extensive knowledge about what the possibilities could all entail. I don’t know. I admit that right from the start. I can imagine plenty of variation occurring from a return side of things as well as the kicking team side. Some of my thoughts might prove to be irrelevant and not even possible. Some developments I might have never even considered. I would think coaches might see value in experimenting and tweaking things in these PS games.

Don't really care for the new KO rules, except for 1 aspect. It stops kickers from kicking into the EZ. They need to be more accurate now. Best kick(as I understand it) would be to have it hit the landing zone and skip into the EZ untouched. IMO there are too many rules to where the ball gets placed after the kick(if not returned). I suppose I need to see it in action, but I don't like more complications

Now that I look at everything.  I get it.  They are trying to penalize each team for trying to avoid a return.

Kicking team kicks away from the return zone ...touch back to 40 or 35.

Return team allows the ball to roll into end zone...ball at 20.

So watch the video...lol

Is it because I posted it that you won't watch?

Right?

I watched that and have seen the rules plus a few examples of how the other league did it. My statements apply after all that.

Just don’t know. I obviously can imagine many more variables and scenarios than you can

The idea being you attack the blocking to create a lane for a ‘gunner type’ to break through to go make a play. Have you ever seen guys occupy blockers to open a lane for a blitzer? Not sure if you notice these details and nuances in the game. It happens all the time with blockers lined up a foot from each other.

But I’m not the guy here going to act like I know everything all about a play we haven’t seen a million times before. I’ll let you handle that role. My only point is there could be different approaches, different personnel…just flat out needing to figure out which guys are a fit.

Mahomes looks to be a beast this year in fantasy. I don’t know the situation with their young WR that came on last season that got in trouble. Would expect he’ll be there much of the season though. Plus they added Hollywood Brown and drafted the speedster AR compared to DJax. All after factoring in Kelce. Plus his running abilities.

You can put 2... almost necessary to be able to catch the kick before it bounces into the end zone

So would look to put a bruiser with a scat back. I see no rules that you can't lateral if you want. Shipley and Ainias on returns would work IMO

Right...but explain what a gunner does?  How a gunner can " gun" from a standstill 5 yards away?

Again...they are trying to make the kickoff into a scrimmage play.

My second practice draft didn't go well LOL. I got stuck taking Tua as a consolation prize(but wanted to see that happened if I waited on a QB). Then I got Murray as a BU. Real first draft in 40 mins

You could if you ran a 2.3 -40

Absolutely lateral... but I imagine the idea is like having 2 guys to make sure they protect the end zone...and can catch the ball so the defense can't get a head start before they gather the ball.

That could end up being a good QBcombo for you.

Shipley would be like an extra blocker. I imagine he would be tough once he got rolling with no risk to Bark. Anias is quick,if he breaks through he is gone

If you ran that fast, you would just run past the block....not into it.  Ham is trying to imagine layers of blocking and coverage scheme... not realizing it's all horizontal strategy here due to the rules.

Yeah I had 3 nice WR's,so had to take  consolation QB(or 2). I can play the matchups. If Murray gets chemistry with Harrison it could be a great thing. BTW how is your dynasty draft going, who did you get?
