If you ran that fast, you would just run past the block....not into it.  Ham is trying to imagine layers of blocking and coverage scheme... not realizing it's all horizontal strategy here due to the rules.

It's a running play on defense, just your "D line" is all across the field. Going to be weird seeing it for the first time

Shipley would be like an extra blocker. I imagine he would be tough once he got rolling with no risk to Bark. Anias is quick,if he breaks through he is gone

That's the spot where I see they can add multiple strategies as to what the other returner does...who does he block etc.

Yeah I had 3 nice WR's,so had to take  consolation QB(or 2). I can play the matchups. If Murray gets chemistry with Harrison it could be a great thing. BTW how is your dynasty draft going, who did you get?

We won't start that dynasty draft for a while

I suspect alot of BU's and rooks get their chance on ST

Now it will be deciding who to cut. How many to cut...etc.

Brock Bowers could be good for you if you want to drop one of your TE's

So would look to put a bruiser with a scat back. I see no rules that you can't lateral if you want. Shipley and Ainias on returns would work IMO

The guys that earns the job works best for me. But Shipley I totally see working and earning it. Can’t say Smith is sounding like a lock for much if anything unless he can field a kick first. Another part of these differing potential scenarios is: different style kicks these K can come up with. I think we are going to see them come up with some real funky kicks. Or maybe it will just be totally all bland and identical like No Mas hypothesizes.

Right...but explain what a gunner does?  How a gunner can " gun" from a standstill 5 yards away?

Again...they are trying to make the kickoff into a scrimmage play.

I see them do this to open up blitzers when guys are one foot in front of each other. So it’s possible.

Lining up one foot in front of each other we’ve seen plenty of stunts run also. But your mind can’t possibly fathom this occurring because they are five yards apart here.

does one blocker on the non kick side drop back more to block?

Clearly I love the thoughts and ideas of completely spreading two returners out and throwing it across after fielding the kick to the other returner to shift the whole return side.

Welp, off to the real draft(first one of 4) Not enough players to fire up my private draft(need 7 or at least 5 more so whatever). Oh well,I will save 150 bucks lol

Yes...like a NT....not a " gunner " though

I like their O mind they have in place in Zona. You have to assume that Kyler will be his most focused self after the situation he’s coming from…pretty much missed all last season. He should be very seriously and highly motivated to get nasty!

Still 54 mins to go,so I'm back. he moved the time(idiot) LOL

I’m thinking they come up with some real hard line driving low kicks that are extremely tough to field.

I'm waiting to see how many ":moved too soon" penalties everyone gets. Could be a real ref nightmare watching 20 guys at once

Is the"moved too soon" call challengeable?

I guess that would be an offsides call

Two DT or DE for a LB happens tons. They’re  lined up one foot from their opponents even. How far back are these blitzing LB? Five yards even?
