These were the remaining 2 years left on his rookie contract

Well at least he won't hurt if we cut him loose after this year,or traded him to a team needing a 1 year BU

Teams that make offseason moves to win this particular year!    I would say the Jets for one. Who else spent money and or made a trade for an expensive player ... or signed guys to one year deals?

The Niners are the favorites to win the SB with several Vegas experts. Runner up where they aren’t favorites.

Ceedy Duce injured already…again. Shoulder this time.

NO  ONE   CARES

He is never high on any guys that fail, years later. Everyone is his guy that succeeds, years later.Get it? If you call all the top guys most will be successful(or not) years later so you can "call it". If they aren't showing signs of success "I wasn't high on them" 🤣. But you're right I no longer care if Reagor was a failure. I never liked the Agholor pick either. It would have been nice to have JJ though. I also don't recall anyone "being High" enough on Hurts to take him in round 2.It was a shocker to everyone on every board and on every site. So you win some, you lose some, most teams are the same. Purdy was Mr. Irrelevant that year. I suffered through(by default) the Browns 35 years of failed rebuilds and draft picks. I used to say every year the Browns nuked themselves. They did it again overpaying for Watson, but at least he can play a little bit and did manage to get some nice players the last few years, enough to compete

Yeah I forgot about that part.my bad. Still seems like Pickett is fine getting paid sitting home on his couch. Not showing any attempt to even keep his #2 gig

He’s just not that good….far from being the superior passer to our QB1 like you stated.

OT-We're supposed to be getting 10-15 inches of rain which is unheard of here. We have no coastal drainage,so this could get really bad. This place is unprepared for 2 inches let alone 10-15. I was in FL with 2=- feet of flood water many times, but they are clueless here,so I am sending "tips from Florida" on how to prep for this

Ojomo reportedly had a big day

Shipley they have noticed isn’t pass blocking well.

Mentioned only Barkley and Lew Nichols were.

And that means they went all in more than other teams with their offseason moves?

I have no idea.... the Phillies are struggling and the Olympics are going on.

It's hard for me to get excited for football drills.  I have no idea how Pickett is doing. Have you seen him?

No,just hearing various reports that he could lose the 2 job

Good luck and stay safe.... our local little league team is down in Myrtle Beach for a tournament... they were supposed to play at least 6 games....played 2 Monday and then the tournament was canceled.   The families already paid for the hotel rooms ... sucks for them.  They were all looking forward to it, as it was our big fundraiser for the little league this year.

We are getting a lot of rain here too... hopefully all isn't too bad and you guys don't get any damage.

I'm happy we have "culture" here. Some kids don't get it and they destroy their careers(like Ruggs) because there is no one to guide them

Well I am used to dealing with it having lived in FL many years and going there since I was 5. But locals are in panic mode. Which is the LAST thing you want. Not much wind as far as I can tell, maybe 35 mph, which was kite flying in FL LOL. But we have one small river here locally and that will have to carry all the water away. It will be overwhelmed easily. The coast has the Atlantic to drain in to. 15 inches here would be devastating. Then people will venture out and play in standing water which will spawn parasitic illness. I'm trying to tell as many as possible. I'm trying to teach them about emergency water storage and using bleach if they have to use standing water. We could have a rather long period of "boil only" and people here have never had to plan for that. Then you get the crazy mosquitos breeding like mad. Others have told me this amount has never been seen here. Even 10 would be a record and they are saying "at least" so this is going to hit pretty fast in a couple of days

John Ross and Parris Campbell look about ready to stick a fork in.

You too(luck) I see bad rain headed your way also and tornado warnings coming soon for Philly

Aiyuck evidently turned down the Pats

Things were off, including between the head coach and quarterback. ESPN spoke with several sources who detailed a prolonged strain between Hurts and Sirianni during the 2023 campaign, with one source with direct knowledge of the dynamic describing the relationship as "fractured" and unhealthy last season. At the root of the divide: a disconnect in offensive visions, with what a team source described as a lack of full respect for Sirianni's X's and O's chops.

On the surface, it seemed Johnson's promotion would be seamless. But it quickly became apparent Johnson and Hurts were on a different page than Sirianni, who wanted to keep his scheme largely the same under the premise of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Hurts, now a bonafide franchise quarterback, was looking for greater authority over the offense, according to two sources close to him. He and Johnson wanted the system to evolve and become more layered, team sources said.

"When Brian got [promoted], I think he thought, 'I could do the thing that I've wanted to do,'" a team source said. "That didn't fly as much with Nick."

as multiple rival coaches pointed out, the Eagles essentially "rolled the ball out" and expected to win when it came to their scheme, to which defenses adjusted

Well of the relationship is strained losing will only make things worse winning masks a lot of things as I said last season before the wheels fell off

But the impression I’ve gotten from everything this offseason if the wheels fall off again the Eagles FO is leaning HC over QB though couldn’t rule out a complete reset either

The FO definitely chose the coach.  Will retain him with a successful season.

Moving on ...it's 2024.
