We're good at bring TE's along(if we can find another one right now). Seems strong and fast with good hands. Many nice traits to work with. Could be a kid to hold and polish. Hasn't really faced much decent coverage,so we'll see how he comes along

I would like to see a young guy step up and take TE2 unquestioned. Maybe this kid can do it. Calc seems like he can't finish a season. I will check out his scouting report now

Yeah, a Goedert clone would be perfect. 🤞

OT-Have been loosely following the Squeelers. They have some interesting choices to make. Sorry, but I think Wilson is done in the NFL. Fields stills needs better WR's,but at least he has a better O line now. Ironically after the Bears booted Fields, they got the receivers he needed in Chi town. Quez is now the #2 BU behind Van Jefferson as WR2,not even starting. Interesting division. No clue if Watson in Cleveland will be a hot QB or another year of meh,Nick Chubb relegated to RB 2 and the Ravens adding Henry. Should also be a fun division to watch

Going to be fun watching this years pre season games for us. A few bad plays could get you cut. Time to step up to the plate. Lots of tough cut calls coming shortly. I feel bad for the new TE who not only has to learn the playbook, who is very raw, jumping into the fray at a very crowded position. Not much time for the coaches to analyze him as a keeper or a cut. Could be a PS stash if we can designate him as a kid who we want something for unless he can flat outwork someone else in a short period of time. I usually don't watch much pre-season except maybe the last one for final cut decisions, but I think I will try to watch all of ours this year

Apparently Wilson is making a case for himself. Sadly ASmith could become a cut candidate if he doesn't start picking it up

Pickens and I like Roman Wilson. Quality TE action. Very quality two headed monster RBs.

Steelers are being slept on.

That AFC North is tough division though. Are the Steelers or us better than Cincy or Baltimore? Browns even? Are we better than the Steelers? Most of these guys I think would bully us running the ball on our D.

Our pass D was atrocious. But I think that masked how bad the run D was some too even. Trading for Nose TJ Slaton from Green Bay I think could be very wise.

Nothing to do but wait to see in the regular season. Teams retool every year and just 1 or 2 great players can make a huge difference for a team.

Parris injured…I think it was groin.

Is he available?  Using your inside info with knowing Green Bay is not trying to win this year,  what can we get for him?

Or is it another fantasy Queen type thing where the guy is not going to be traded?

DeVonta Smith looks ready to go for 1600 yards this season. Really feels like he’s locked in.

He's their backup on the final season of his contract. They switched to a 4-3 this season.

Oh... so just like Queen with the contract situation,  you know he is available?

What are we giving up for him?  And then obviously we need to sign him long term after that, what are you thinking there?

Are half of these guys available that we know of when they’re traded?

But I was thinking that maybe he doesn’t really factor into their plans so much anymore. He’s on his last year of contract. Owed a bit over 3 mil this season.

And Patrick Queen was the answer to what kind of addition last year’s team needed to make an honest run as a contender. I knew it wasn’t a Championship team all along.

UH was the pass D "atrocious" OR did Hurts hold the ball TOO LONG? These guys can't pass block for 15 seconds while Hurts decides what he wants to do LOL.

If you had to guess. Which GM in the NFL would you think communicates the most with other teams.  And which GM would you say makes the most trades between June 1 and the trade deadline.

If you had to guess which GM would work the most in these two categories...and therefore in essence be on top of the market and ready to make a move...GOOD OR BAD...who would you say would be at the top of that list?

Patrick Queen was the answer to this question..." which stud LB on his last year of his contract is Baltimore NOT going to trade."

Again... I would love it if the NFL were Madden mode for the Eagles.  But 31 other teams are out there drafting, signing and trading for players

The arm chair know it all GM really doesn't work in the NFL

Very easy to say " my team needs this " all the teams do that...and 31 of them ultimately don't have enough.

What we don't know is what's going on behind the scenes.   To act like we do, and that " i would have done this or that"  just ignorant.
