So would we fire Siri and promote Mooore?

No not if we are winning…. But does beg the question of would we be able to replace our OC?  We didn’t do great when Shane left

Siri isn’t the O mind AR is so not like we can just plug in anyone

Jonathan Ford:

Miami, 6051 333 5.25. Three-year starter, Fort Lauderdale, FL. Despite a career that did not create notable production, Ford brings a combination of tools that pro coaches will want to work with. His length and upper body twitch come along with a hefty frame and plus-height. He can fill the back end of a depth chart at either the zero or one technique where his run defense prowess and space-eating ability can factor. Will not offer much as a pass rusher. Plus-sized frame with well-distributed thickness throughout. Tall and wide with a pair of hands that belong to a heavyweight boxer. Can make a violent impact on contact when his pad level is along the right plane. Shows a short area burst and explosion that exceeds his timed speed. Can react to the action and close a gap in a hurry. Shows the potential to two-gap in odd number fronts. Gets the initial movement off the ball with a strong lockout game. Gets his hips too high as his eyes try to diagnose the action. Lacks feel for blocking schemes. Did not have consistent production or impact on the game. Balance and ankle mobility issues inhibit his pass rush potential.

     Maybe shoot for him then.

If we succeed with Moore... wouldn't that be 2 out of 3... with the outlier being the childhood friend of Hurts that was eligible to get us a comp pick if he was promoted?   I would think that would be a good sign that we could replace our OC... again... as long as we keep it as guys that we hire strictly for their accomplishments and not for anything else.

So curious topic of discussion since it’s the Lull of the offseason say our O finds itself again this season we are really good….

High chance Moore would then draw a ton of interest as a HC…. And ummm our track record of replacing coordinators hasn’t been great going back to Doug

Is it really a high chance of Moore getting a HC job?  Because of success with 8 all pros?   I would figure he has been passed up here a while.  Might need a little more time before teams look to hire him as HC?   IDK?  It wouldn't surprise me either way, but I don't think OC with this particular group having success is an automatic HC consideration.... its a pretty good group to work with.  Especially adding Barkley.

I am seeing Kenny Clark and Devontae Wyatt as the starters for them this year.

Top O minds getting the HC jobs.

Well I did state our track record of replacing OC going back to Doug… and Shane isn’t a replacement he was the original hire so I’d say we are 0-1 under Siri…. And possibly 1-1 depending on Moore

It’s an O minded driven league if Moore coaches a top 5 offense yea think it definitely possible. Is it high think it would be as high as any other OC that puts together a great O getting looks

IDK, I just think ti would have happened already for him.   I know its offensive league, why hasn't he been hired yet.  I mean Ham thinks he was # 2 to Siri... 4 years ago.  The time in LA wasn't so great... IDK, I just think it would be more of a surprise if he doesn't do well this year with this group. If I am an owner I would need to ask why do I think I need to hire Mpoore exactly after a successful year with Barkley, AJ, Smith, Goedert, Hurts, and a stud OL?

I guess I just don't think its a given, especially if he was behind Siri before... as a HC.   I think Steichen was a fresh new candidate... the new guy... not so much with Moore.

Well I hope that happens, but if it does it begs the question what do we need Siri for and opens up the possibility Moore replaces Siri. Adding Bark was a HUGE move. And if Hurts performs, there is zero reason we can't be in the top 5

Why do the Steelers and Ravens need their coaches?  They don't call plays.

Because they’re good coaches.

Reports now that the Niners have trade deals in place with Browns and Pats for Aiyuck.

You can’t be in a more ‘all in’ circumstance than the Niners. Will they trade Aiyuck?

Their records.   That's the bottom line.

We need to pay attention for fantasy purposes.   Especially if it's Cleveland

What makes you say the 49ers are all in?   Other than limited cap space because they mismanaged some contracts?

Other than that why do we care about Aiyuk? OH, Ham wanted him if we didn't take Reagor LOL. I'm looking forward to the day every player on all 32 teams holds out, then we can move to bubble ball in '29

Idk.... trying to figure out what the difference is from what the front offices did in the offseason?

Did SF makes big free agent moves or trades for 2024?   Again, other than the fact they mismanaged cap to where they are here now...why would anyone say their 2024 offseason put then all in?

Trent Williams is 36 years old.... Brock Purdy is entering year 3 and will have to get paid.

Those are reasons why the 49ers future is up in the air, but doesn't explain what moves they made this offseason as to why they are all in?

Seems like Amari Cooper would be part of the trade with Cleveland.
