Gainwell wasn’t close to Sanders or Swifts talent either. But he’s Siri’s Boy. Kept shoving him in.

those 4 carries to compliment those 2 workhorses Sanders and Swift ...lol

Shipley is more explosive and dynamic than Gainwell. Just a matter of time until Shipley starts gaining more touches than Gainwell.

Just that every report from camp is saying that Gainwell looks really good and Shipley looks ok.   But hey... what do those guys know who watch every day?

They don't know that Aiyuk really wants to go to Washington.

Not so far. I think he(Shipley) will continue to improve and surpass Gains at some point THIS year, but he is not there yet No clue when that will be,could be game 3,could be game 13

Earth to No Mas…come in No Mas…you are lost.

Eath to planet Ham... change the radio frequency to reality.   Noy difficult to pay attention the Eagles reporters and stay away from Bleacher report.  TMZ... or Fish Chips and football talk.

Wonder what Ham's boy Roob has said about the RB position behind Barkley?

I was impressed with Nichols, Davis-Price and Milton. I hope one of them can become a future BU/RB 3/4

Ham just can't get over...

1.  drafting Lane over Ziggy

2.  2017 the 49ers cleared cap space

3.  2019 Eagles didn't have cap space because they overpaid Alshon, Desean and Malik Jackson

4.  They made the Saints trade instead drafting a rookie safety

5.  Gainwell getting 4 carries per game last year.  That all important first snap vs New England.

Two touches for Swift in that first game with Gainwell getting all the touches. You and Siri touted Gainwell all offseason long as worthy of starting. Gainwell gets injured and Swift takes over starting role and proves his glaring superiority.

We need Barkley, Shipley and Milton I think. Milton is the ideal compliment hard runner.

Every offseason you talk of Gainwell as the starter. He just isn’t that good a RB. He’s not getting a starting gig elsewhere next season. Laughable. But I wish the best for him. He’s just not that explosive. He’s decent at all phases of the RB job is what makes him an asset. He’s a quality third string RB.

Gainwell got 18 touches to Swift’s 2 first game last season under Siri’s guidance. 54 rushing yards.

That’s not a committee approach or even riding the hot hand…pure blindly shoving Gainwell in over a far more talented RB.

It’s called bad coaching.

Wtf did I ever say Gainwell as the starter???   Dude you are delusional.   Or you just lie.    Either way it's pathetic.

Barkley,  Gainwell, Shipley... with hopefully a 4th guy that looks like he can be the #3 next year after Gainwell signs elsewhere.

Ehhh... Go read the play chart.   Gainwell got 10 touches the first 2 drives.. short FG and a TD.    From there it was more that NE had the ball.   The real issue is 10 more times combined after that.

Swift had 0 yards and 3 yards.   Not that he was looking great.  But 10 plays to the RB the first 2 drives ..both long and both scored points...then the same 10 combined afterwards???

Probably why Siri took over the play calling.   It was said he wanted to run the ball lore.

Maybe I'm different....but I don’t care about who touched the ball when they scored.   I look at that when I see the offense have issues.

Gainwell started out hot... we scored.  After that... nobody did much.  We didn't score.  To complain about his 10 touches on 2 long scoring drives seems dumb.

At least focus on 8 to 2 the rest of the game that didn't lead to much.

Cool. JuJu can clean out his locker and get on the Eagles team plane. Saves enough money for a pancake breakfast and they had better invite me 🤣

I read Spuds article about key takeaways from the boring preseason game and boy was he impressed…with a defense going against who? C’mon Spuds. These preseason games tell you NOTHING! They are a joke and painful to watch. The coaches just want the games to be over.

Nah. They get to see future players playing against stuff they don't see in camp. It's actually an important part of the cut/keep process and even those these are sub top shelf players, they still want to win. You can have joint practices I suppose, but there is no feel of a game environment doing that. Also gives new coaches experience in a "pro" game with stuff like clock management and player substitutions when it's TIMED. Rookies get to play against other rookies that they learn from. So it may seem unimportant but it does serve a purpose

The old days my first post on each article concerned his current article. I do miss that piece of this message board. Kind of gave a fresh start with each new article posted.

You also have the factor of Harbaugh wins in the PS so much. Had like a 16 game win streak for awhile going there.

Judon wants to be traded….going to get a big first hand look at him against our quality T. Wonder if we’ll consider making a move to bring him in? That would be such an ‘all in’ move though.

Wondering how much we’ll get the starters involved in this PS game against the Pats? You’d think this would be the opportunity more so than that last PS game.

Who gets credit for breaking that win streak.....  let's come up with a spin to where we can give Hurts the credit and keep it away from coach and GM.
