You’d think this would be the opportunity more so than that last PS game. Or.... call me crazy... they actually get the reps during joint practice? Probably exactly why they like to have these?

They like to have several joint practices. Only get one this season with Siri explaining the reasoning behind it with scheduling conflicts.

Did we break their PS win streak? I don’t even remember. I just mentioned how I think it means a little bit more beating the Ravens in the PS because they take the games more seriously than most everybody else.

August 13, 20242 yr Off topic....the Australian break dancer and all the videos and memes... I'm finding hilarious.

August 13, 20242 yr It was said Siri wanted to play our starters more PS game one….but decided against it because of the wet field. So I wonder if this second game he doesn’t let them get their feet a bit more wet this game. The D players got a splash of reps in. So I’m sure they’ll get some time.
August 13, 20242 yr Cook got me to go read the Spuds article. The most interesting portion was the quotes from Fangio. How he laid out how much the Slot CB was essentially a LB in a 4-3. Just how the game has evolved.

Multiple reporters.... not TMZ, Bleacher report etc....but the local ones who follow the team.... were suggesting Siri had zero intentions of playing the starters, but he wanted to have them prepare as if they were playing. As they said... playing a series in preseason isn't going to help them win a game in November, December or later.... and tough to argue with their success under Siri during the first 2 months of the season. Conclusion... not really worth playing the starters in preseason.
August 13, 20242 yr Chiefs, Bills, Bengals, Texans, Colts, Niners and other quality teams got their starters reps in the PS game one.

Think you need to look at the snap count for PS game one. Starters did play. You might want to rephrase your whole statement there.

Which ones have a better record recently in the first 2 months of the season than the Eagles? Or... do you feel it helps these teams after Halloween that they got reps in preseason games?

August 13, 20242 yr Becton got 8 snaps…if you agree with me on believing he’ll be a starter. Davis:4 Carter: 5 Huff(if you consider him a starter): 5

Your guy might start at RG.... then again...he might not. Isn't Steen hurt? Idk why you bring up playing starters vs New England.... you seem to be happy with all these " starters" getting reps vs Baltimore??? Why bring it up?

August 13, 20242 yr Why would anyone prefer to see their starters play in preseason? The only logical reason to me is that they would believe it helps at the start of the season? What has the Eagles record been during September the last 3 years? The last 2 years? Other than that...I'm curious to find out why any fan would prefer to play their starters at all during preseason?
