If our coach admitted he had no idea our first round pick could even play on the slot…do you think we drafted Q to play in the Slot?

Did we know Dickerson was going to be an all pro G..

Did SF know Mr. Irrelevant was going to be better than a guy they gave up all those high picks for?

Not about the next twelve years for our top young first round pick stud CB…ok..if you say so.

SO when DeJean is ready to play where are you putting him? Then where are you putting Q and which high dollar player are you sitting? I'm sure Lurie would he more than thrilled seeing a player he is paying millions to reading a magazine on the sideline

IDK in music I started out on piano. I was ok. Then I took up drums and I was better at that, then I picked up a bass and self taught myself out of a book. 4 years later I was listed in Scene magazine as one of the top 10 best bassists in Ohio,so should I have gone back to piano? Let Q pay his dues like I had to in music

But for the bands sake we need you to sing instead

Wait... I do this in April... but I see this is going to work better in August.

What do i do....

1. Stick to your April master plan like a stubborn idiot

Or

2.  Go with the reality of what you see is best in August?

But Q following guys and playing more on instinct year one so he can learn the physical level of the NFL receivers vs the tough competition he face at Toledo is bad...lol

I would think(personally) playing slot would be a nice transition for a small school player. Although Q seems overly cocky I doubt he can shut down every NFL WR at this point

And where does it hurt him to know how to play all these other instruments?

The Niners weren’t moving their CB to TE if that’s your point. I actually do think the plan was to start Dickerson at G.

And I did because thats what was needed for success.

I don't get the issue?  He will match up vs top WRs very often in the slot.  These top WRs move all around.

Do I do what’s best for the next few games or what’s best for a top player for the next twelve years with the franchise?

Ham....explain to us what you want right now.

1.  Mitchell to start outside

2.  Mitchell to be a backup outside

3. The Eagles to play their best unit?

Which is your priority?

Oh please he was "anointed" as Kelces replacement, before he wasn't,then Jurgens was anointed. We consistenly draft C"s to be G's. They turn out better than drafting a pure G so far,or at least in the last few years

What is the lineup you prefer to see?

Again…I totally realize you don’t get it. Why don’t you watch a grizzled forty year NFL coach talk about things. Go watch Fangio’s presser.

He’ll tell you about how the Slot is a completely different position than outside CB.

Yep,IMO coverage is coverage. I said GL covering JJ in the slot. If he can do that then he is ready to work outside, but the experience can;t hurt as he is exposed to various skill sets of WR's

But for a rookie that experience hurts?

Exactly you need to also watch Fangio’s presser. He completely disagrees with you…not just my opinion.

Experience in a different position than learning your position?

Who are the starting WR's in 2028? Who is the starting RB in 2028? NO team plans 12 years ahead LOL

Not nearly as ideal as developing his fundamentals and instincts at his position we want him to play for years to come. Just making the point of it’s very much less than ideal …for our top pick stud CB to begin his career.

When you take a stud outside CB with your first round pick….youd better believe I’m thinking long term with him.

SO when Q moves outside(in time) he will also have the slot playing knowledge. it's called "bringing players long". Maybe he can't play slot, we;ll see,but right now he is the best option we have and moving him out now displaces a highly paid player

Do you remember how I talked about Q the whole predraft process? How excited I was for us making that pick? Should be fairly easy to understand my point of view…even if you disagree.

Displaces cheap Rodgers or fourth round pick Ringo?
