Just a curious thought why wouldn’t we look to put Barkley under center for the tush push or another RB?

it’s not like we run any trick plays from it we don’t fake tush push…. Everyone knows when we are going to run it from how we line up.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to put the RB there instead of risking our QB? Only real concern would be taking the snap from under center but that could be practiced.

Dont underestimate him. He was very productive as a QB with average talent and arm strength. He understands the game pretty well. His dad was also a coach. I expect significant improvements from the debacle that was last year.  Not hard to do, yes. But give hima chance. I prefer sean McVay myself, but he is a bit occupied.

I think the snap is the big thing,  just keep it simple with the QB. That's probably the thought

But you think Lurie is going to hire him as the next head coach?

I dare to dream of moore but let’s see what he’s got

So have that lingering will it be Gates or McMahon dressing backing up on Gameday.

Let’s just see what these guys can do this year

Kind of a stupid question, but I need to ask anyway to you fantasy guys. What do my bench guys win me each week? If nothing, what’s the point of having them?…in case one guy goes out for the year?

Is there ever a reason to use my TE over a WR? It says WR or TE for that extra receiver spot.

If a guy does get put on IR, then i can pick up any guy available? What if a guy just ****s?  Can i cut his butt and draft a new guy?

Injury and bye weeks so you can field an entire team. There is a FA list in your league. It will be reverse of the draft order. But if someone uses a wire selection they go to the back of the line. Once a player clears waivers, you can chose anyone you want  without going to the back of the pack. I am a commish so ask away

So you have to manage the team every week.

You make the decisions on who is in your starting lineup.   You pick which guys you want to put in....based on who you think will score more each week.

Look at it this way...you draft your roster as a GM. Then each week you select your lineup as the coach. You put the guys in the lineup or on the bench.  If they are on the bench they shouldn't count for anything...but some leagues use the bench points as a tiebreaker. Check your league rules.

After each week, there is a waiver wire, you can add or drop guys there.  After the waiver pickups... then it's first come first serve for any other guy.

Typical week... Monday night last game... you look Tuesday for anyone you want to add.  Then you put in for a transaction.... and usually Wed or Thurs morning whenever the league sets the waiver moves...you see if you get your requests. If not, you see if there is anything else left.   Then if you have players in for Thursday you have to choose to put them in or keep them on your bench.  Those players are then locked.  And you do this at 1pm , 4pm, etc.

After week 1 you will get a feel.

Sounds good...let's give that master plan a rest until after the season.

No, Moore sucks. We have an non pro bowl inferior center. Our RG has to suck too Siri is clueless and we need one more player to go to the SB,we just change who that could be. Hurts carries the other 10 every week. It's remarkable We can't win any game without Hurts. He is the whole offense

BTW some of the GB players are hurt and no word if they will be in Brazil. Should be a terrific game and a great test out of he gate

Davis Price beat out Mitchell for the PS RB spot. A tad surprised. Scot to the Squeelers. This is our team. I am excited for this year

27-24 birds on a game ending FG. This game is really going to make some new fans from Brazil. I hope it's this close. Give them a good show of US football

I understand the NFL wanting to grow the game by playing international games. The thing that irks me is the home city - Philly in this case - loses millions. Regular working people - restaurant/hotel workers etc. It would be difficult for other countries to play in the NFL if they had their own teams and flying all over the world. Maybe these countries could have their own teams and league play then somehow fit into the NFL playoff.

It's why the home teams can only be one of the teams that has 9 home games

Probably just didn’t seem all that smart at least not at the rate we used it for every little 3rd down or short yardage to risk the QB we paid in those plays.

Hopefully Moore leans away from the tush push only uses it in key situations late game need that TD or first down short yardage on makes sense….
1st qtr though no need for the play 3rd game of the year we don’t need to risk Hurts to get a first down

I know for our league our bench players decide the a tie during a matchup.
also need your bench to cover bye weeks for players in possible injuries to your starting lineup.

Also go further into the chess game of trying to take players from opponents each week guy your playing needs a RB go stash someone on your bench so they can’t use them against you etc.
