"But they're probably not going to put their best over there (on Dotson). So he has mismatches all day." This is what I’m talking about, that third WR doesn’t have to be a super stud …he’s going against each opponents worst coverage guy most of the time. While S are going to be rolling to the other guys the majority of the plays.

That’s when the timer turns on. And that's when it should count vs the " designated to return " list... either the moment he practices or is activated. The players put on IR get paid and it counts toward the cap...so only so much any team can do that's shady. At some point the injury settlement works better or just releasing players before putting them on. Stashing is surely a tool, but can only be used so much.

But again only takes one guy getting tripped up or landing the wrong way on our QB and he could be out the season. Just doesn’t seem worth it to use on every little situation to gain a 1st down. Love that we have it in our back pocket as an damn near automatic 1st down or TD in short yardage when needed but wouldn’t use it like we have been last 2 years

If you watch on a lot of these plays....there probably should have been a TD scored on the play prior. I think the offensive skill guys are better set up to score from further out now.

I bet not like you have a 200+ pound guy running 20mph hitting you….fear of a play like that is really only if some lands on you the wrong way or some gets their leg ankle caught up…. Not super common to happen but I’d image that the biggest risk of that play

It takes a big toll on the QB as well. NFL piles are dirty. But it’s a risk just having your own player pushing on your back into that situation also. But plenty of players out there that would take some cheap stuff if given opportunity on Hurts.

Which just goes to show there is always the player side of negotiations. This player didn’t sign…and didn’t sign…but then eventually signed the same offer. But he could have held out and stuck with his guns to not sign. So the "Brazen Whinery"(I'm a new vintner lol) didn't work

SF messed it up. Kudos to the 2021 class of stud WRs that got their extensions early and the teams that were able to get the deals done. Miami, Detroit and Philly doing it right!
August 30, 20242 yr Time for qb1 to show he's worth 255 mil. He's got everything at his disposal on offense this year

This is the SB window over the next 3 years Top 3 WR, top 12 WR, top 5 RB, top 7 TE, a legit option at WR3, still one of the best olines in the league (even without Kelce), Moore's offense has been number 1 in the league twice. There's definitely a youth movement going on on defense but they addressed the biggest weak spot last year (secondary) in both FA and the draft. Add another pass rusher in Huff. I still think Howie makes a move to add another DE at some point. Eagles are all in this year

Not going ‘all in.’ But fielding tough team for the league to deal with.
