If the O line can get him to the 2nd level he will be devastating Gotta believe Moore will open up the passing game to him. That’s where our coaches have failed. Maybe it’s Hurts fault not checking down more also. But with Smitty and AJ commanding so much attention downfield gotta be large space to operate for Saquan behind that. I can’t believe there are even a handful of LBs that can possibly cover him man to man.

Beating Washington last season in OT on the way to 10-1 showed a quality team that knew how to win. But wasn’t proof of being the elite best team like you try and state based on that record. At that point we had the best record in the NFL….but we weren’t the best team in the NFL.
September 4, 20242 yr Author Joe and I talked all off season about the fact we needed a decent slot or TE2. Both would be nice. We went with 2 TE's instead of the 3. Of course I suspect we add Stoll. Only 3 RB's not 4 which opened up and extra WR spot. Now we have what we need and we can offer different looks with different styles in the slot. Wilson really surprised me how well he did in camp. He was "ok at FL st. I was expecting that from ASmith

This team is better than last year. I never said we were elite last year. If we put all the parts together we very well could be this year, that depends on Hurts now

But is just a clear never ending pattern of you just disrespecting our team leader. No QB ever been built or has the makeup of Hurts. He won’t quit. He works his butt off on details and perfection. That desire combined with his commitment to lifting weights has made him and absolute monster at running this play. I’m fine with all due respect to the Oline. But we didn’t force our way forward for a yard on the back of Jason Kelce being the biggest and the strongest. Heck this play is say is where Siri deserves his most credit. He really put in all the time and brought in rugby players everything to perfect these details of the play. But you…or most any other person isn’t running the Brotherly Shove like Hurts does…period. Stuff like this is what negates any real objective criticisms you could make about our team leader.

It only negates it because of your agenda

Would point out how I’ve been stating this longer than even that…if that were important. I even can give No Mas credit on he agreed with me on what a difference an actual other receiving threat would mean out there….instead of a blocking WR and TE. But I’ve been much more focused on the WR than TE. Third WR in case of injury to either AJ or Smitty is just crucial. Your and evidently the teams whole plan is relying on Hurts and the O to carry the day. You love to point out things that transpired in that last game we played versus the Bucs. But Hurts actually fed DeVonta a bunch. Wasn’t it like 150 yards receiving. So Clearly wasn’t enough. Then all the points I’ve made about a third WR even without any injuries.

Plus it wasn’t just run on fourth down or anything. If it was first and goal from the one…we’d run the play.

I see the all encompassing player and leader that Hurts is for us. Defensive players even respond to him. They believe in him. Our D before Hurts didn’t believe. As soon as he was inserted our D players stepped up their play. It’s across the whole team the confidence and belief they all have. Right or wrong……every player believes that if we can just make a play to give Hurts that chance he’ll lead the way to victory!

Even if we get off to a slow start you can believe in this squad improving as the year rolls on.

I wouldn’t say it’s something he couldn’t do. But have no reason to believe he can necessarily either. But Covey pointed out how this new return is a physical play. Kind of why he isn’t all about doing them all. So does that fit with DeJean? Punt returning I believe he’s incredible at. But that’s a different play.

Very good at attacking the seam and giving the QB a window to throw into(a great quality for a slot). Tracks the ball well and makes some tough catches. Although he will be on the PS,there is upside I see,to ascend in time to at least a BU role Thanks for making it easy on me. I always keep on top of our teams roster…but this guy really snuck in. Plus I’m just not even familiar with him to begin with. Appreciate you providing quality information educating.

So he has buddies here and he compared our culture to being similar to Georgias so he should blend in well. He would be the BU to the BU(Wilson) for now
