We won't be risking Shipley, We have extra WR's and no place for DeJean yet

I like Shipley big time on KO returns. Everything I see in him I like more than Gainwell applies on returns. He’s more explosive. Gainwell can make a good gain on a nice hole. But skill position players mostly have more burst by trade. Shipley I think we’ll notice this difference fairly quickly,

The tush push is a play by a RB. Hurts was a RB on those plays

Not at all. You are missing the details once again. Can’t be anymore broken down simple detail play than our Brotherly Shove. A hand off to a RB takes so much more time. Not too mention we have failed to roster a bruising short yardage back or FB. That’s why I’ve been pointing out how I see value in the fourth RB options. Georgia RB Milton in particular…but any guy. I’m already looking ahead and seeing Gainwell as not being that guy. He’s good all around. But NFL has become so specialized. Third down pass catcher substitutes in for those plays. We need a physical pure rusher to run it hard and grind out the clock. Our Oline was dominating people getting physical and attacking. These guys can really bully and wear down opponents with their size and mean nasty streak. Saquan can definitely do the job. But not the guy we need to use to salt away games. Just need a RB other than him to wear out our opponents.

I see Gainwell and Shipley as very similar players at RB. But Shipley has more dynamic burst. That’s why I pointed out I don’t see just choosing the second and third best RBs. We need complimentary players all across our team.

Why I even stood up for Bradberry. He doesn’t play ST. Isn’t instincts ready for S. Isn’t a great option at CB anymore. But he can be an emergency player at every DB spot. More importantly I point out how he probably is our best option to cover TEs. Which I’m predicting right now as a very potential problem area for our d.

I think Bark will run amok. If the O line can get him to the 2nd level he will be devastating

I don’t know what to expect from the Pack D. It’s new. Got some new pieces.

I clearly favor our team using our strength and should be identity of being physical. Run the ball. I don’t care if it doesn’t look as pretty or put up huge passing stats to boost up our QB. We should control the clock and game. Best way to deal with quality QB against us is don’t let them get in a zone and rythymn.

Wear our opponent D out and keep Love off the field. Old school basic football. Still works. Teams are even less prepared for it today than decades ago:

They stepped up their play to be ranked 3oth? Seriously?

They did in 2019. Our team had quit. The talent still stunk. But D players gave an extra boost. Players play for Hurts. That was the first thing I noticed that keyed me in on he was the guy.

Now you can’t blame the D last season on Hurts. That was all Rosie. But was an obvious result of our cap management also. Couldn’t field a complete D. But he also set us back with the coaching. Should have least been the first season of Fangio developing and teaching his scheme to our players.

Our D before Hurts won a SB??

Listen to the mic up moments. Our D players even talk stuff about Hurts. Telling the opponents you don’t know Hurts like they do. Our guys really have believed that if they just step up, no matter how bad they’ve played all game, get a stop…make a play….just gets Hurts back the ball and he’ll lead the team to victory. Every single player on our team I completely think believes this…and in him.

You can slam Hurts for all his weaknesses and flaws. It isn’t the prototype QB. Not the best QB. But he puts in the work and has a drive unmatched to win.

I can’t say anybody ever has possessed more drive to win than our QB.

If Bark goes down who replaces him?

Will be new for both teams. Siri is not sparkling when it comes to adjusting on the fly. I hope he does better than he used to because GB is good at it

I can agree with all this. You can't play 12 yards off the ball in coverage, you will lose that battle every time. They will dink pass you to death. I also would stress to our receivers if we need 8 yards, don't run a 7 yard pattern.

WTH are they supposed to say? Of course they will pump whoever is the QB. it's a team game. The D is playing to win,not because of Hurts. They would back any QB who wins games. I'm sure the GB defense loves Love too

Nobody is "slamming or hating Hurts' But you need to remove the blinders. There are NFL QB things he needs to show us all(except you of course). Now we will have motion and we have all the receiving tools any QB could want. if I see Dotson waving his arms in the air and Hurts not even seeing him I will be PISSED.

I'm hoping to see this transpire with Moore at the helm. No one questions his will to win. Now learn the things you need to to accomplish that. Fast reads, more multiple reads, see the field, move in the pocket to see throwing lanes. Nothing at all to do with the fact he is "different" This is the stuff pro QB's need to do

It’s an issue to prepare for. Can’t just ignore his durabilitly issues, age and amount of carries in college and pros.

I totally disagree with your assessment of him. I’ve seen a winner. No stage too large for him. I believe he thrives under pressure and isn’t a choker at all.

Love I also believe has earned his teams trust. But no..,not everybody has those qualities. Some teams have played believing they better make the stop than have to rely on their O to save the day.

Dropped ball in the SB,ran backwards 14 yards and took a safety. Disagree all you want. Facts are facts
