Plus it’s always more difficult if these guys get their first taste of real action in our schemes and playing along side this squad if it first occurs in the highest of pressure big moment situations.

That is a game manager,it's not a BAD thing but that's what they want from him So now we can all give up on Hurts becoming an MVP QB because he cannot do it. So we're playing to things he does best and no longer pushing him to learn. It's the "Hurts offense" now. Hiring Moore had little affect on how we run plays. Hurts got his way and won't be learning anything new. We got a glimpse of Moores O in week 1,then went away from it. Hurts could not handle it as evidenced by the massive amount of turnovers. Siri's job is to win games and we are now that we took the game out of Hurts hands . That is the reality

Absolutely a positive that Hurts isn’t such a Primma Donna and big head demanding all the glory and stats. Fantastic that our QB really genuinely roots on his teammates accomplishments. He doesn’t have to be Russel Wilson with such a need to feed the ego and craving for the personal glory to feel any pressure to force him to pass in the SB for all the glory. He’s perfectly satisfied and happy to give it for the Beast Quake(we need something catchy for Saquan…the Tshirt ls and marketing are just absolutely ripe to explode) …as long as it gets the job done.
November 1, 20241 yr Author As Joe stated and I agree,he is functioning as QB2. So he is overpaid. But we win games using Barkley mostly and that is Siris job,to win games

He's not a Prima Donna because he is a middle of the pack QB

November 1, 20241 yr Author I'm happy Hurts is a middle of the road QB. Much better than the bottom 5 and that's all we need from him. He is surrounded by talent that allows him to be middle of the pack

He’d really had a rough embarrassing start to the season. That after last seasons collapse ending that no coach ever has survived. But unlike No Mas I do believe you are starting to realize this situation with Siri. He clearly wanted to take the lowest risks to just not lose. That STs block made it more interesting than it should have been. But Hurts did have a solid passing game. Was there a golden opportunity that you especially would have loved to see against Cleveland to really go big putting up major points instead? If Siri would have allowed it and trusting the team…we could have lit them up. But any version where we lost to the Browns after a bye right in that situation(his gaffs both X and O, decision making and maturity face of the franchise supposed adult failures…gotta link the collapse last season …no way not too and it only be about Hurts like No Mas preaches) they would have been fired to fire him. Bringing him back while stripping his power and turning things over to coordinators with each phase …just to try and bridge the HC situation…an understanding that the right HC candidates weren’t available last offseason. That two…three very coveted HC candidates made it clear they were sticking loyal to their teams for one more season. You know Lurie is very aware of success and sheer numbers he chooses to be the top guy to run the organization very much reflects on him. He can make a solid case for his choices on Pedey and Siri based on the results from two guys he uniquely first identified as HC material. So hiring the wrong HC forcing matters because the collapse situation was dictating him into playing a band hand…makes him look bad and the HC job here less attractive. Right now…got a good team…with a quality DC very experienced pro in place….with any quality candidates with multiple options could favor choosing to work for Lurie based on he’s not irrational and knee jerk type super rich guy that will not give any HC he hired ample opportunities to succeed. In the NFL that is rare job security.

November 1, 20241 yr Basically exactly doing what they decided to do last season at DC. Very clearly they hired Desai as a one year stop gap DC. He wasn’t their guy….but he would be running the D in such a way the personnel could remain while bridge the gap for a year. Believe most are with me understanding that was the whole situation on D how it unfolded. They just made such a very similar choice at DC just last season….shouldn’t be very hard to make a very educated assumption they’re doing it again at HC this season. If you understand the quality HC candidate situation how it’s unfolding with the rare choice by hot opportunities to advance…declining jumping all over the dream opportunity to get their own team. Also has to just boost their stock that they don’t feel like their dream job is in danger of disappearing with just one hot moment to strike.

November 1, 20241 yr The consensus with the media... saying how the passing attempts went down after the bye... 25. ... 14..... 20 passing attempts But the game where there is 25... when they threw a 40 yard pass to ice the game instead of running to take off 40 seconds.... that's the game where the coach was " conservative "????

Read an article where Lane and some of the O line guys wanted us to run the ball more and told Siri on the bye. The college RPO causes "illegal downfield" linemen and it freezes them at the LOS so their talent is being wasted.
