But yeah a few deep balls to both top WRs each game. How many deep big plays is more than game managing QB to you? I just don’t think being a game manager applies to making big plays. Or does it apply to improvising and being a playmaker to run, juke and just always be so stubbornly difficult to tackle or stop. He ran for a real nice first down conversion. He ran for a very key other chunk for a first down getting us inside the five yard line. Then after the others couldn’t get the TD …he delivered by forcing his will on that game. The Bengals shut down our Brotherly Shove…but Hurts refused to be denied. Watch the highlight or review the screenshot I shared of after the Oline and the whole play went nowhere…he continued on alone against several very large Bengal defenders while a defender was also at his feet from behind/side. He also make a great play running in that 7(or whatever) yard TD.
November 1, 20241 yr Author Play action is a much better option because the linemen can drive to the second level. To run play action you need to establish the run

The college RPO causes "illegal downfield" linemen and it freezes then at the LOS so their talent is being wasted Heard Kelce and Barkley speak of Siri this week. Of how well Siri communicates with the players. Constantly emphasizing the little details.

Foles won us a SB as a game manager, but he still made the needed passes

Throwing deep, being a playmaker….pretty much exactly what most would call a QB doing all the things that are beyond the description of the game management. His long game killing drives several times this season are pretty ultimate game management….but not what the label of Game Manager has been applied to mean very widely.

A dude throwing 14 passes.... but a couple deeper balls where he lofts them up to his all pro WR in single coverage...that's aggressive? There we go…you say I keep score. That’s the third time already you’ve tried to weaponize Saquan’s Day to tear down.

Wait a minute….it really feels very suspiciously like you are giving full credit to Hurts making excellent reads on the D. He hit AJ a few times this last game so sweet between three defenders. He also ‘read’ the motion on O caused the defenders to have a slight hiccup adjusting to their assignments hitting AJ right off that opportunity.

He's not a Prima Donna because he is a middle of the pack QB So how much and which QB is not supposed to hand the ball off? Then add in not going to hand the ball to Saquan? Hurts contract situation is very team friendly.

But I can’t even picture your Hurts Hating to actually believe "he’s middle of the pack.” He’s set the bar already so high that even in his lowest moment under a bad HC,in a terrible scheme ,with pathetic playcalling…he’s still not that far back. I just don’t even believe you honestly even typed that with your chest and a straight face.

He needs those stolen stats to earn his pay, nothing more than that BS. He ran the ball to convert the first down to inside the five. Bark got opportunities went forward but couldn’t score. I mean it was totally up to him to get the TD. He didn’t and doesn’t disappoint. Hurts doesn’t need to earn his pay. He just signed that life changing contract you complain about. Second round pick got his money. While it was a mega contract it still actually was a team friendly deal for him to sign. You sure know that not a single Cowboy would have accepted what he took in that position. They all are making sure they use maximum leverage to push their contracts beyond anything in the ballpark of fair or enough.

Not really a shocker there Yeah I can understand it…but what comes with the HC is needing that confidence and driving your team forward. As much as he isn’t adverse to risking going for it on fourth downs…he sure went chicken sh17 in a situation where a HC sure in himself and superior team chooses to confidently lead his squad to embrace the opportunity to light the bad team absolutely up!

November 1, 20241 yr Just can’t think of many 22,23 young QBs that weren’t like a first overall pick that Siri could have ever survived with. The HC supposed to be the even keeled mature adult that steadies the young emotional athletes. Only way a HC that’s worse than the players like this to survive after one season was he benefitted from having Hurts as the team leader. Hurts even keeled mature and focused demeanor guided our team…while becoming a pro at a younger age than most.
