I'm just curious on this one.... I know you couldn't watch the game...I was pretty much explaining how we were dominating until Barkley stepped out like a dope before getting the 1st down...that led to the blocked FG....made it 10-10... instead of 13 with good chance of even 17-3.

Ham ( because he likes to go against you with everything, probably because you triggered him with a Hurts comment)   said how we dominated and they got the lucky 10 points.

So now he says that domination was a short cut to winning that game...but hindered our big picture?.

You can understand why I'm confused?

Once you critique Hurts you are done. He's a god,you should know that. Best in franchise history!!!!

GB...

When Doug was the coach he had his veteran group come and talk to him.  Give him suggestions etc.....the spin...Doug is great because his open minded approach leads to success. He listened to the players.

Siri does same thing... spin  = " the players went to him complaining about etc..."    you see.

They spin things how they want.

It's amazing you see it with Hurts... it's the same thing we saw in 2022... yet that year it was MVP worthy...because he was the new guy and everyone wanted that story.   Now since he struggled early.. the story has changed, that same type of performance is not seen as elite.

I agree with it now.... because i didn't think it was elite in 2022.  But it's just interesting seeing the different spin of basically the same thing.

Barkley is meaningless.O line-meaningless Hurts pulls the game out every week, but as an inept non fan who doesn't know what he is talking about I can still have an opinion LOL. Still waiting on the link he said he had(crickets) I DID see where lane and the O line told Siri they would LIKE to run the ball more. And I offered a reason they would want that

No.... Ham acknowledged his top 3... Hurts wasn't there.  So that conversation is over.    That's something that you could discuss if he is still here in 5 years.

They told Doug the same thing.

Runyan used to beg Andy to run the ball.  Same stuff.    Barkley described Siri as a coach that wants to hear his players opinions..." doesn't mean he will do what we say, but he wants to have our input."

Idk...that this is anything new?

So after that list(and I also posted a link where he was like 6th) he STILL refuses to give up his agenda. I posed a link earlier showing Hurts was 13th ranked in PASSING yards.I'm sure he is doing well on rushing TDs due to the Oline. He is a middle of the pack passer who has good legs and a terrific supporting cast

If anything as an idea of long term hindering...just to win now.   That would be the idea we are using Barkley too much now.

How many touches did he have vs Cleveland?  Compared to the last 2 weeks?

IDK some coaches want it done their way or no way. I have been around a few of those, but usually that breeds animosity(sp) as all players want to feel their ideas should be heard at least

Cleveland 20 touches

Giants 19 touches

Cincy 23 touches.

Siri needs to use whatever weapons depending who we play. Some games will be rushing games, others passing,so we need to exploit whatever their weaknesses are

The whole city wanted to run the ball more in the early 2000s.... didn't really matter then.

Nice consistent stats IMO. You can talk about yards gained or TD's had,but he is a player teams have to plan for. IDK that anyone planned around Sanders

132 passes in first 4 games

59 passes the last 3.

73 passes on Sunday is needed to even it out.

We know what the strategy is going to be moving forward.

Bark brings more defense into the box allowing for more opening of WR's

Sanders is a guy nobody will remember in 5 years.  Said it 2 years ago... just nothing special... at all

Agreed and why I said(the inept non fan who knows nothing) that we have given up on the Moore type offense and made Hurts a game manager. I never said that was a bad thing, but Ham think it is

He can't even earn the start on the lowly Panthers LOL

Since there are more guys in the box Hurts needs to be ready for blitzes. The extra guys there are not there to take sewing classes

SO with the Moore offense I would expect 31PPG,but now since Hurts is a game manager 17,21,24 with solid defense would be more realistic. I just assumed more scoring with the receivers we have, but Hurts couldn't or wouldn't learn the Moore offense,so we are back to the Hurts offense

After averaging 21.5 points per game in the first three weeks of the season, the Eagles have averaged 28.3 during this three-game winning streak.           So 1 FG away from my "GOAL" of 31 PPG

You lost me here.   Why isn't it Moore’s offense with Hurts playing more under center... and using the multiple TEs?

Your QB can be a game manager in any type of offense.  Those are 2 different things.

I enjoyed your thoughts. Think you are forgetting some of the earlier hot streak Foles had the previous run in Philly. Had that game versus the Raiders he threw 7 freakin’ TDs.

I was at that Raiders game with my Raiders’ fan friend. I also went to Oakland for the Eagles game when JaMarcus Russell beat the Eagles as Jeremiah Trotter looked like a 50 year old playing MLB. It was SO painful. So I made my friend sit through every second of that 7 TD pass game. It was AWESOME! I just think if Foles had not won the SUPER BOWL, he may be forgotten easily as an Eagles’ QB.

Oh now you stepped over the line 😂🤣

Haha. I knew I would take some backlash on that one. I liked Cunningham. He just didn’t win anything important as an Eagle. He had some RUNNING highlights, but was very average. That defense of Reggie White and company during Cunningham’s time was absolutely unbelievable!  I am going to look up some stats. I remember the defense outscoring the offense in more than one game one year.
