Or you are going to make it a joint issue...not just a Hurts issue We know Hurts weaknesses 1. Short QB so he can't see over the OL 2. Arm is weak for 2024 NFL 3. Vision is below average for an NFL QB. 4. Mentally slow in processing more than 2 reads. 5. Holds the ball too long anymore, not killing plays when they aren't going to work. 6. Looks to escape the pocket often when there isn't even real pressure yet. So 3,4, 5 and 6 are very directly exactly all tied together in this. You hold the ball longer while not processing(because no scheme means no answer and plan) not being coached in a scheme with an understanding of what the expectations are that the coach wants…in that situation.

YOU SAID THIS MULTIPLE TIMES. I asked for specifics...examples of play calling during THIS CLEVELAND GAME...and you dance around the subject per usual. Kamalatheman.... Donaldtheman.... politician style of avoiding giving an answer to a very specific question about your very specific statement of Siri’s coaching during ONLY the Cleveland game. The examples are in every phase or every decision Siri is making. He didn’t need all the stuff Kelce could get Siri by to skip teaching for week one. The examples are everywhere the whole time Siri’s been here. But the most glaring and obvious examples that I believe most everybody other than you Hurts Haters totally understand is how Siri’s one step plan playcalling with no scheme of reason or further thinking of what everybody else calls a plan. So he doesn’t teach grow and advance ever. It’s one game then the next. Not we’ll install all this portion of the scheme teaching what the coach expects in every scenario. Thoroughly mastering as much as possible. But that isn’t nearly enough. The job is COACHING! You plan on building and improving adding to the whole season. So you can get where you need come the most important end portion of the season,
November 2, 20241 yr So your not coaching/teaching and developing has very obvious consequences when it’s just do what you need to try and do this week. That’s why I was complaining…along with the players when 10-1. That’s so obviously not a sustainable approach. So even though it’s very obvious FL you just only can think one step at a time. This is exactly the reason for the collapse! Couldn’t have gone any other way.
November 2, 20241 yr FL and Siri just only care about right now. But then aren’t understanding the so very obvious results of players and the O as a whole are deliberately being held down under the conscious decisions to skip anything not for week one. After TC? That’s it. Coaching, developing. Adding to improve both an understanding and the extra tools…all just coming to a halt. Insult to injury shows our TCs we are behind and not even getting as much done as other much better pro coaches. Those NFL teams are more expanded and versatile..more and ahead put simply…just out of TC even. But all them have plans to keep teaching and adding to their Os to get as far as possible at the end of the season. Double edged shortcoming,
November 2, 20241 yr See No Mas you trying to act like I just generalize and don’t have examples and explanations in detail extensively. But I’ve been exactly giving the breakdown of what’s the obvious track record from Siri this whole time.
November 2, 20241 yr That’s the long posts over and over. Very thorough breaking down why and the results. But yeah…instead of the ninety lengthy detailed posts? Generalization really does apply, Seeing his approach and decision making in every thing you can think of. It’s the way he’s short cutting teaching and developing players beyond what’s just needed today. It’s in the playbook because it doesn’t keep growing to develop five times where it starts like good coaches all already have a laid out season long plan to try and accomplish. It’s in his playcalling. It’s in his nonscheme not having all the laid out expectations for the players to be expected to execute the coaches scheme.
November 2, 20241 yr So I’ve done anything but just generalize supplying some unfounded weak unproven theory. I’ve extensively broken down in detail example after example trying to explain it to you guys. Feel it’s important for you guys to understand how all this works. Your Hurts Hate complaints mostly revolve around missing a coach.Vision, holding the ball longer, reading a D …this all is supposed to come from an understanding of the coaches scheme. It is point blank the coaches job to have a very clear expectation laid out that has been masterfully collected, developed and formed from great football knowledge and experience.

Now this is such a huge missing piece. But not everything isn’t the players fault. They make errors and all have shortcomings and flaws to go along with their reason they are NFL player strengths.
November 2, 20241 yr Just now, cunninghamtheman said: Now this is such a huge missing piece. But not everything isn’t the players fault. They make errors and all have shortcomings and flaws to go along with their reason they are NFL player strengths. But it’s hard to even get that far without all the missing coaching elements. It is absolutely exactly his job to teach these players all this. Any athlete at 22 isn’t going to be developed masterfully like the 36 year old version of Drew Brees. So if you are the HC the whole time while these elements aren’t developing and progressing fast enough? Either the player doesn’t care and sleeps through meetings just caring about the fame. Or it’s just not being taught…well at least.
November 2, 20241 yr So combine no understanding of expectations on most scenarios with an extensive playbook of multiple plays from the same formations, without the knowledge gathered and developed cultivated into a great scheme? You don’t have the answers and reasons for what needs to be done to maximize countering each situation. While short cutting developing by teaching and adding to the players and O as a whole anything not max important right now. All while not having any second, third….twentieth steps to these plans..both in playcalling and improving the O as a whole.
November 2, 20241 yr There is supposed to be a plan of expectations the coach has laid out to the players. Not just call any random play right now and it’s just a hard and fast written in marker execution every single time regardless of the D play. A play includes how it’s to be run against every imaginable D(scheme and play).
November 2, 20241 yr Most every play has its strength situations against all these Ds. Which goes both ways. There are D plays that are great against these certain plays. Ideally you called a great play that takes advantage of the expected D. But you need to teach the answers to how to adapt it in every scenario. Sometimes it’s one specific tweak. But sometimes you teach it’s just a bad play right now audible to this.
November 2, 20241 yr Partial example: Smitty gets is route called. He adapts it to Man or Zone. He adapts it depending on whether the DB is tight at the line or huge cushion. Is the DB playing him with inside or outside leverage? How are the other help defenders or guys going to be expected to get the coverage passed off to their responsibilty. Are their one or two S deep needing to adjust accordingly. Then you get the actual execution adjustments. Does Smitty toast the DB in coverage? Or is the coverage player staying on top of him? Is the DB playing it well right in his hip?
November 2, 20241 yr So the expected adjustment accordingly provided by the coach teaching his scheme or just the game…the QB and WR both must be on the same understanding to work. Playbook basically has to adapt to each scenario to give the pecking order of how the reads should go. Football knowledge with reasons and responses: a scheme.
November 2, 20241 yr So all those last several weakness you identified with Hurts…are really just going to be very obvious results under Siri and learning to master a new O. Slower progression, holding the ball longer, bailing from the pocket, not reading the D well enough with lesser than ideal vision: that all just can’t be fantastic if not being told expectations from the coach in his scheme and having enough time and experience in that scheme to be comfortable.

A great scheme has the answers to fix all these. But if you actually read the D correct but there isn’t an expected plan taught by the coach having developed the scheme? You are going to look like you have bad vision, you’re most likely holding the ball longer ….with it appearing like you just don’t even read the D correct. Knowing the D doesn’t do much if you don’t have a plan of expected adjustment according to the given playcall. Harder for the QB and WR to be on the same page if there isn’t an expectation from the coach for the given scenario. Plus you are going to have the vision to key in on a certain defender moving in a certain direction.. ..which gives that anticipation of which WR will likely be getting open when.
November 3, 20241 yr Author 12 hours ago, joemas6 said: So I don't think that Moore is against running the ball. What i expected from Moore.... 1. QB under center 2. Two TE sets, using one as FB 3. Motion The amount of runs really doesn't matter. I was expecting more passing with AJ and DSmith,2 of the best tandems in the league. I think acquiring Barkley screwed up that scenario. I think we tried that, then stopped due to all the picks thrown by Hurts. I don't think Barkley was counting on being the offense here as he was in NY. We really need to use him less since we need to extend his career another 2 years. We need to come up with "something other than Barkley"
November 3, 20241 yr Author 7 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said: Gotta plan for both Signing Barkley to a 3 not a 1 is long term planning? How long is AJ contracted for? More long term planning? Mailata? Lane? No long term plan?
November 3, 20241 yr Author 7 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said: Yep then you love everything that’s transpired. Yet you claim you should see growth. But that isn’t happening when you go backwards and aren’t working on a bigger progression goal. Growth for me was winning the Cincy game IN Cincy, something we have not done for quite awhile. With Hurts, coming down to earth and being a game manager not an "MVP" disaster
November 3, 20241 yr Author 6 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said: Exactly…to skip and short cut the scheme, understandings of purpose, to short cut and never really teach/coach our Franchise QB. Just go with the plays he knows and go backwards from there. Hurts may not be our franchise QB,he is only here for 3 more years and he needs to earn his pay now before we sign him to another contract
November 3, 20241 yr Author 7 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said: The players have been stuck with him as coach. Big difference. It’s a bad look for anybody to call for another man’s head. And they all think he's great,so that's like being "stuck" with a trophy wife. Who called for his head? Did I miss something?
November 3, 20241 yr Author 7 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said: Then don’t expect players to really develop or the O to develop. Just go with the five plays you can run in TC and skip any coaching. There's this "intangible" called "playing time". We can start that after you get the football laces down, but we are not there yet

November 3, 20241 yr Author 7 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said: You gotta start in the begging and progress. Can’t just skip it…and force the player to only learn from outside sources. So I'm paying out 53 million to teach my QB now???? Why would I pay a guy 53 million a year for 5 years to have to teach him how to be an NFL QB?
November 3, 20241 yr Author 7 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said: See you are missing it all. The O was very weak with no scheme and no real diversity with personnel lineups even being a ‘tell’ for what plays were being run. This is exactly what I’m talking about. You and Sitj one week at a time is so clearly going to end collapsing. You gotta grow progress and adapt. Maybe we should have taken 1 game at a time during the collapse and not have been looking for a SB? "The journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step"
