November 4, 20241 yr I not just see we need to probably get away from the Brotherly Shove not just because it’s lost and losing its effectiveness. It just is just too brutal on our guys. Our opponents cry about hating dealing with it being just detrimental to their health. But they hate getting into that a couple times just that one week. Our guys are in it every single game. All the reasons everybody has brought up against the play: not football, not dynamic and exciting….the main drawback is actually taking care of our own players. Kelce would just let out "he hates his life” or something to that effect each time we were running it. Oline are constantly being piled on and suffocated down there. NFL pile only can happen in this juggernaut of a money making sport to the masses because it’s hidden. The league can make rules against so much of the big hits, KO, not bringing a pillow with you for the QB touching….but those freaking piles are nasty. Just brutal pretty no holds barred dirty frustration releases where the only place anybody could get away with any of that stuff anywhere in life without being put in jail and sued is an NFL pile.

Why would he be coached to fall down in bounds BEFORE the 2 minute warning and not just go and get that first down? Poor coaching or dumb decision on his part? Baun is a football player! He is one of the better LB the Eagles have had in quite some time. We wore him out LOL

Finally tackled by two guys. Obviously we just are forced to give the ball to such a bad option because our QB is so terrible. Yep as a game manager hand the ball off to your stud RB. Hurts made some nice throws today, then more bonehead stuff
November 4, 20241 yr Just now, GreenbleedinNC said: It's not his coaching it's the bad decisions he makes at key times The bad decisions to not have any plans that require thinking more than one step. Bad decisions to skip key elements that players need that actually are what leads to more success and wins. You and Siri are all about the win today approach. Which I’m never said anybody doesn’t want to win. What I’m saying is that approach actually is what leads to failure and losses. Heck pretty much lead to where a team pretty much couldn’t win against anybody. The inevitable predictable results from that approach were on the most obvious display for the blind and even Siri’s mother couldn’t deny.
November 4, 20241 yr Author 16 minutes ago, cunninghamtheman said: Yeah it’s been clearly much more of a struggle this season. We really still were successful by the smallest of margins. Sheer will of our guys just refusing to be beat. Which makes me see such similarities to what happened last season. Really was how we got to 10-1. I know a couple of you point to Siri being the driving force creating his win/loss success on his back by just coaching everybody up and having the superior plays and scheme that left all DCs dumbfounded…not. But seriously exactly how last year took place. We had fantastic playmakers that are such competitive winners. Our guys on O had to overcome ridiculous challenges. Our D was terrible. Our coaching was terrible. It really was the competitive will of our playmakers. They really just had to overcome all that by figuring out ways to be just fantastic versatile top playmakers. We had a shutout at the 1/2 and finally scored in the first. How do bad coaches pitch a shutout? I was pi**ed about going for 2 when we had them already beaten. bad decisions by Siri

November 4, 20241 yr Just now, GreenbleedinNC said: How many teams do we game plan for in a weeks time???? That is exactly what that approach is called by every other team….gameplan. Great! So if you can give me the specific label for that…then how can you not believe in doing everything else. Yes, absolutely need to gameplan each week. But that isn’t a season long approach for greatness. That’s why they actually have a word for that part of the coaching responsibilities. If that was all there was to be a coach they’d just call it coaching.

You'd have to make it all over, then again every time a player gets hurt. It's pointless

November 4, 20241 yr Author Game plans are made weekly using the players you have or don't have. It's pointless to make a long term plan for Goedert when he is OUT. Every week is a win now week and there is no other way around it
November 4, 20241 yr Author So write your in depth essays because those are worthless also. You plan weekly for the team in front of you, not for week 16. All 32 teams do it because there is no other way

November 4, 20241 yr 46 minutes ago, GreenbleedinNC said: Season long approach-win 1 game every week LOL Not rocket science We tried that to the best of success. Even doing that approach ideally look at the ultimate one game at a time approach…Eagles 2023. 10-1 start with a talented team that couldn’t compete with the lowest of playoff teams. Blown out!
November 4, 20241 yr What words and phrases could I possibly use to better describe than how the 2023 Eagles how terrible small thinking that approach is and can’t ever be successful in the NFL at the end?
November 4, 20241 yr 1 hour ago, GreenbleedinNC said: Season long approach-win 1 game every week LOL Not rocket science So I’m assuming you didn’t become a successful coach at any higher level. Me either.

That only concerned with game planning each week exactly doesn’t get the whole team prepared. You are helping me to make the case for me mostly with your posts, thank you. Game planning is one of a hundred HC duties. The bigger season and team plans get you prepared for as many scenarios as possible. Then you gameplan and figure out how to get as much as possible done on each front.
November 4, 20241 yr Because your longer season long plans have less specific items. The gameplan is all about very specific matchups based on your healthy personnel and the opponents,
November 4, 20241 yr This is just basic fundamental broad stroke typical NFL(and lesser) thinking and planning. Most teams aren’t overwhelmingly the same players and coaches for ten years. So you start off with minicamps and TC. Everybody(well most) realize you aren’t installing everything and perfecting everything like a fantasy all in TC. You maybe consider the schedule and the most crucial fundamental elements that you expect your personnel to consistently succeed with to perfect your bread and butter plays. Maybe can target even a given area you identify as a common potential weakness in your first several opponents. To win ever in the NFL you need to detail master your main go to plays you’ll run all season. No way around skipping getting those perfected. Call it like 10 plays(Siri calls it a playbook..but nobody else). Then in TC you need to try and expose everybody to pretty much everything. Throw everything at them. They have film and a familiar building block to work with, Then you target chunks you can break off and start installing to workout and later adapt after seeing how things play out between what the coach wants versus the actual personnel’s strengths and weaknesses. So expose them to everything by dumping it on them, These guys have been playing well for a long time(even rookies). So they should already have a good foundation to build on. Master detail your bread and butter go to plays. That’s the first section a coach has to start really installing and teaching how to hopefully dominate. You know get detail specific and take the time to stop and teach mistakes and talk over options for differing scenarios they’ll face while in that play. So you gotta have a bigger season plan understanding no coach ever taught everything and hit a team to master everything…even over years of a team staying in tact. So no way your getting close just in one TC. So the season plan is dictated by what you target to get done first in TC. Just keep going step by step in chunks to actually tighten up so you can use it in a game the whole season. You can’t use much in actual games that you don’t know can be reliably of quality enough to be effective. So it goes on most the whole season. Good coaches always have more plays and ideas than can be utilized in one season anyway, So the bigger picture plan is to get as far as possible with your team so they are at their best most versatile for the end. Just add in the during the season self scouted changes and needed improvements.

Your theories are pointless dreams, not realistic and No one but you knows what the hell you are talking about
