Any coach can coach a good or a bad game tomorrow.    It always starts 0-0.

Same with any player.

Now back to Ham's idea of the " bigger picture "   Barkley just had 30 touches... I know he can handle a work load ..it's one of the things that makes him different than Swift or Sanders... but we have 9 games left...then playoffs.  That's a concern of mine,  lesson his work load and get the other guys some reps.  Shipley being able to get on the field would be huge.

Oh yeah, Sen asked about why Bark didn't run for the first down. Well because he was stone cold dog worn out from overuse and he just fell down. He is still human and that workload won't hold up for 2.5 more years and I was also saying to "find something else" Bark should have about 20,22 25 max carries a game. He is having a career year, but he can't be the only guy we use. We're going to burn him out early with the over usage. Like the Green Mile movie he will say "I'm tired boss".Overuse will cause miscues simply because we aren't keeping him fresh

It was nice to see the fresh faces playing. DeJean,Shipley got in there and Q is just an excellent player. Usually those small school guys have trouble transitioning, but he hopped right into the fire and is doing well. Dean played well and saved the game. That group of draftees really needs to start showing up. I agree with Joe in another way. We need to stop the "prevent" defense WAY too early. IDK if those are Fangio calls or Siri overriding him,but that is an issue for me. The last 2 games were very nice to see,but we need to take the pressure off Bark. he is only 1 guy,a great tool, but we really need other players to get touches. Nice to see Calc make a few plays. He's no Goedert, but he looks like TE2 now,an outlet for Hurts. Getting Goedert back will be uplifting. I saw Wilson in there and Dotson made a play or 2. So nice to see some minimal production from the slot

If Dullaz isn't already done,we can basically put them out of their misery next week 🙂 and I expect that to happen. The Wuss are the team we need to beat. Now we need to see how our injuries play out, Mailata,AJ and Goedert are key cogs in the machine. DSmith makes some spectacular catches and he is only going to get better. That 1 hander was awesome. Hurts put the ball the only place it could have been to give him a chance at making a play. Nice drop by Hurts. Any under throw would have been a pick, It had to be a rainbow,so that play made by DSmith also made me smile. Again me as a hater will say Hurts made some terrific passes. Now cut out the bonehead stuff

1. Dallas should be done with an Eagles win next week.  Washington... luck has been on their side,  that should run out, but you never know.

2.  Idk what bonehead plays you are talking about with Hurts as I missed most of the last 2 games,  but just keep taking care of the ball.  We win when he doesn't turn it over.

3.  Game management I like to see... go up 9 or 17 any chance you get. That's 2 possessions and 3 possessions.    Run out the clock at the end of the half to make sure no matter what ..we score last.   Any play we run with a lead and under 40 seconds left in the 3rd Q... make sure the clock runs out so we go right to the 4th Q.

4. Defense... when it's 4th and longer than 15....send the blitz and force the hot route.  Tired of seeing the QB relax because he knows the blitz isn't coming..  fake blitz even...whatever makes the QB have to think.

All the other stuff is all nitpicking...coach manages the game,  QB takes care of the ball, and the defense makes the opposing QB have to think or rush...  the game become 100 times easier.

My favorite play from Hurts in the limited amount I watched...on the last drive of the half... 1st and 10...I think around the 20 or 25... he scrambles out to the left and runs for 7 yards.  Beautiful decision. Don't panic and force a throw... pick up nice yardage without much effort or getting touched.   Beautiful things to do on 1st down as you approach the red zone.  Especially when coming to the end of the half. More of that please!

He ran backwards at times and took the sack anyhow. If you know where your receivers are(which requires more than 1 read) just throw it out of bounds in their general direction. The problem once again is not knowing where all your reads are. If his 1 MAYBE 2 reads are covered,he panics and after the pick he played awful until he got his composure back. Panic breeds more bad plays. You have to keep your poise in place . To his credit he DID get it back, but it should never be lost in the first place

Were they bad sacks?  Like taking them out of FG range?   Or was it the safe play not to risk a bad throw getting picked?

Context matters to me, I can't comment since I didn't see anything wrong with Hurts play.  I did see one sack, that led to a punt, but not sure I would put the blame on him there.

I'm not looking for perfection... just make the fundamental plays and take care of the ball.  On the flip side I'm not demanding rocket science from the play calling either,  the talent is there to where they can do stuff on their own. Don't have to scheme them all open on every play.

Wow, no Dak vs us - hammy

Yes...Siri was a problem in two games this year...I agree.  No getting around the Saints game and yesterday...agree!

No getting around Hurts being a problem in some other games,  no getting around Barkley dropping the ball vs Atlanta.. no getting around bad tackling in some games.

You don't know what will " cost us" in any game.   Doesn't get much closer than the Saints game does it?

Again I know what you are saying and I’m not entirely disagreeing. I just think at this point we know there’s a very high chance Sirianni will make bad decisions because more often than not he does. I just think this team is too talented to have a clown of a HC.

The BU is probably more of a risk for us than Dak. He may actually be able to play QB LOL

So what is the big picture? And why should you not plan week to week? SO we have a gigantic plan with every player healthy,.then what when they go down? The "big plan" is useless. You try to fix the broken spots and you can only see those week to week. Your theories are pointless dreams, not realistic and No one but you knows what the hell you are talking about

So the whole offseason, TC and every week before the Cowboys game…you aren’t prepping scouting reports with beggining to formulate any kind of best counters for their best plays and players? Or studying weaknesses?

That’s just one division rival game we play twice well after week one.

Nobody knows WTH you are talking about again, Why should I study Dak when we will face Rush??? Shouldn't we be watching HIS tendencies?

You aren’t always keeping files about every team in the league along with player and coach? Not even teams on our season schedule you know about way ahead of time? How about if you are actually a coach with any quality you are even prepping for the Niners for so many of these past seasons on the schedule or not. I’ve been high on what’s going on in Detroit the building…just a team that really has been knocking on the door each season contending. I don’t think the Lions are even on our regular season schedule. But if you actually have any real serious plans this postseason …at least thinking of being a decent team.. I’d have the prep going fairly well on the Lions. They’ve been my pick this season. So any short sided coach in the NFC only first considering the situation to beat Detroit that week in the playoffs? Good luck with that. Detroit has been very steadily learning and prepping to get…and win the SB.

Is Dak out for the season? Why don’t you already have Dak thorough file built on Dak of all people anyway? They’ve been very much a team we’ve potential could face three times a season. Heck…I’m telling you we better be thorough enough to have a very detailed file going on Rush. You’d approach of one week at a time.,..be hard to be prepped enough in a week. Do you think every single team in our schedule just didn’t prep at all until they were week of the matchup?

What Cowboy player should we not have a scouted? Guys always get injured. All comes down to how thorough you are preparing for everything.

Just so many things you are working on constantly of your job is NFL.

Earlier I was just giving examples even about installing the scheme by the coaches too. Be kind of scary any coach that got the entire playbook perfected just in TC. Any decent coach has too much to possibly get a team great at in one season.
If you aren’t adding to your team…in the NFL? Your going backwards. See 2023 Eagles.

We played 8 games... I gave you examples of 2 games....2 out of 8 is not " more often than not"   ?????

i woulld say sirianni left pts on the board but also consider that the team feeds off of his aggressive approach which is hard to quantify how many pts that helped us achieve

Should coast by Dallas with Dak out multiple weeks and image they sit Lamb as well who is also dealing with an injury

I'm sure every team has that????? Are you going to ramble on for another 5 pages about the obvious? I'm planning for the 2087 Dolphins?
