And honestly wasn't even the fullest potential as Barkley went out for a lot of the game. What it did show was that we CAN have a viable passing attack, and that's something that hasn't been shown for quite a while now.

 

Big sigh of relief after this one.  This was the kind of showing Jalen needed to have.

I'd rather root for the Vikings to lose one of the next 2, then win the finale and for the Lions to do whatever they do for the next 2 and of course lose to the Vikings in the finale. Then we get the 1 seed.

If we get the 2 seed, I have no fear of the Eagles going to Detroit. That's not a guarantee, just that all in all, I'm confident in the Eagles wherever they play. I'd just rather it be in Philly.

Sounds very much like what I said last night.  Don’t game plan to throw 50 times; start with balance and adjust, based on what’s working.  Steelers are a top 5 defense against the run and bottom half against the pass

Don't forget that we arte now in a three way tie with the Broncos and Chargers for lowest points per game as well.

Are we objectively the best team in the league? I think so. Might not have the best offense but we are up there. Offense showed a lot today against a solid defense when Barkley was shut down. Certainly in the convo for the best defense in the league and idk who else is honestly in that conversation. None of the other teams at the top are as well balanced as we are.

Offense showed yesterday why we are a SB contender. The defense did too but it does most weeks. But the offense clicked yesterday. Jalen looked really good, the pass game got going. Saquon had a couple of good chunk runs despite a quiet game.

Yeah they aren’t giving Lane the sack though they are putting it on Jalen. But Lane got beat quickly on that play.

A few weeks ago I said this was the best defense since the Jim Johnson years.

I’ll go ahead and put this out there - is this the best defense since the Buddy years?  (Not necessarily better than the Buddy defenses  but better than most defenses since Buddy?)
