Here's the thing - conspiracy or not, the utter incompetence of NFL officiating could absolutely reinforce those ideas for people looking for that sort of thing. Every game, every week - it's complete nonsense.

And listening to the podcasts, these guys act like it's some great faux pas to criticize NFL officiating. "It all nets out" they say. "Not trying to be the ref guy" they say. Does a Super Bowl loss due to some ticky tack holding call on a move each team's DBs made a dozen times that day "net out" or "come out in the wash"? What's the weight in your model for insanely high leverage calls?

Yeah let's fine Jalen Hurts for not having matching cleats, fine players for not wearing their socks or jerseys the right way. Professionalism, they say. Let's kick guys out of the league for 2 years for betting on games. Integrity of the game, they say. Where's the professionalism and integrity of the game with these bozos reffing NFL games?

Oh, and they're not even throwing the hip drop flags yet. And we're now hearing non-stop about the "center's beltline" when these idiots can't see a blatant facemask? It's a disgrace.

Agree with everything but this part…it’s called a uniform for a reason.  Outside of that, the issue has gotten exponentially worse IRT officiating as of late.  It’s always been an issue, but it’s almost at the point where they’re blatantly throwing games.  I’m also sure where at the point where they are just as bad as the replacement ref days.

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all enjoy your day.  Go Birds.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to ALL!!!

Why golf carts though, doesn't sports players hitting the golf course usually imply going home early (ala when a team gets eliminated from the playoffs).

They probably use the cart around the team facilities, and not on golf course.

The starters get the carts.  Wonder if the OL back-ups also get the cart.  How about Stoutland, the OL coach, who deserves a special gift as well.

The league feels more and more like a rigged storyline than I can remember.

Sad, I knew him a bit back in the day as he came around to our school once in a while during sports practices.  Also, my mom had his kids in school and talked with him on several occasions and later on my brother lived next door to his son.  Very good guy and great Eagle!

If they both play great then probably both.

And we're back here again.   Time warp.

Tag around and find out!

Who is that lady on the ESPN Monday night football commercials?

I imagine the whole point of commercials is to try to get some hype for the game.

Could they find anyone more boring and bland to promote MNF?

Merry Christmas everyone!

Hope everyone's holiday has been great and that you received some Cowboys stuff to burn in the backyard.

Insider feud.

Merry Christmas bloggers!!

Eagles D should get blame. Too many errors in coverage and not keeping Daniels bottled up in the pocket.  They had this issue with Bryce Young as well.

The expression "live by the sword, die by the sword” applies to Fangio’s approach to Defense.  He consistently deploys a light box, more often than not with only the four down linemen rushing the passer.  That frequently means more open space for a QB like Daniels and Young to slip through the first line of defense.  The second line which is well back of the LOS has to come up and make an open field tackle on the scrambling QB.  Daniels showed himself to be a very good and very elusive open field runner.  Young was a notch less good and a notch less elusive, but quite good nonetheless.  Having Dean or Baun act as a spy would probably result in less open field between the four Eagles linemen and the second line of defense … less of an open field for the elusive QB to exploit.

Hey Merry Christmas buddy!  What are your typical plans on Christmas? Blow up your inflatable friends and family, open a present that you bought for yourself, then cry yourself to sleep?

When do we find out what's going on with Two Gloves ribs? I want to see McKee Sunday.

It's the NFL, not the military. Who cares what shoes they're wearing? Some players wear black, some white, some green. It's never completely uniform so why does it matter?

Merry Christmas friend!! No/yes/maybe

What a completely goofy flag to throw.

KC certainly runs those rub routes well, we on the otherhand get flagged regularly.
