They not sure about the scenario but depending on what tampa does if they finish with same record the commanders are eliminated

Technically can get in with the same record as Tampa. Washington loses out and if Tampa wins the division. Meaning Atlanta beats Washington in week 17 then loses week 18 to Carolina and Tampa wins out.

Netflix with live events has been bad with their stream quality so there’s a chance some don’t even have to boycott. It just won’t work or be horrific quality like the Tyson/paul fight

The most watched NFL game this year was half what Tyson/Paul did. We’ll see what it’s like tomorrow but they have no excuse if it’s poor again.

Fair point.  We see it every game.  Eagles should send tape to the league office.

If I’m Laurie I’m alluding to taking it to the FBI for match fixing. Give everyone something to think about.

The league doesn't want us to win. We're too good to deny though.

Yeah, Vikas went over the first part, which made sense, and I hated the addition of a 7th team which I often times call the Revenue Seed. I don't like the idea of an 8th team even moreso, but it seems inevitable they're going to water down the product more with an 18th regular season game, and an 8th seed in the very near future.

I don't mind the 7th seed.  6th seeds have won the SB.  Only a matter of time before a 7th does as well.

One thing that was finally settled around here is that life without Hurts sucks.

When your other option is Kenny Pickett......yes.

Like Siri is saying, Hurts' condition is determined by the doctor.  The team or Hurts himself has no say on the matter.  If he can't go, it is not a total bad thing to play QB2 and maybe even QB3.  The back-ups need the snaps to get ready for the real games.  With the playoff already in hand, giving them some real game experience can't be bad.

Watching the re-run of the Washington game, QB2 became too predictable looking for AJB.  He probably not confident to find other receivers and went with the primary target.  Practices this week should help, game experience should also help..

Why would Hugh do that?

Hurts probably wasn’t all that happy when he found out Purdy bought each of his O Linemen new Toyota trucks.

Purdy has a sponsorship with Toyota, he didn't pay a dime for those trucks.

Complete knee reconstruction incoming. No way he comes back from this

This NIL stuff is getting ridiculous, the further this devolves into recruit essentially being mercenaries is going to continue to ruin the product at the NFL level…which has already fallen off pretty drastically IMO.

Kinda weird how it hasn't gotten out one way or the other. If it was nothing, CJGJ would probably just tweet what he said. If it was really bad, you think it would get leaked out somehow so the NFL and refs look justified. Being quiet from both sides is just weird.

I figured one of the Commies would have said something

Unless it was truly vile, I doubt many remember the spur of the moment stuff they either say or get told in great detail.  Adrenalin is a helluva drug.

The biggest issue, imo, is the lack of holding calls for Jalen Carter.  He’s held on just about every play.  Although holding is common, it’s beyond blatant against Carter.

Even if they call it once out of every 5-10 times he’s held it would have been called dozens of times by now, over the course of 15 games.  I don’t think it’s been called even 5 times all season for him?   It’s comical.

They wonder why the guy gets loud from time to time - they’re basically baiting him into it by never having a call go his way and then they double down by calling anything against him.  Frustrating to watch, tbh.

Sad.  You never want to see that level of a knee injury.

Games on Christmas eve or day are dumb. People have family stuff & travel.

Maybe one special game Christmas at night after all the presents & eating are done and people are just relaxing.

With 1 game a week, teams have routines. Stop making football all different days. Stick to mainly  Sundays.

Agree with you 100%. Ideally, no games on the holidays.

Chubbs had his knee absolutely destroyed twice on the same leg and he's presumably okay now. I wouldn't count him out yet.

He needs to do what Reid did and say I need clarification of why this wasn't a penalty calling the refs out in a press conference

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.  One of the funniest movies of all time and a current Christmas Eve tradition with me and my wife’s family.

Question though:  Who the frig allows both sets of in-laws to stay with them for multiple weeks?  They have that advent calendar that shows the timeline and it always drives me nuts.  "Hey in-laws!  I still have to work for 2 more weeks, but it’s normal for my father-in-law to stay in my son’s bunk bed the entire time!”
