Will the penn state RBs make it to our pick? Seems doubtful

I definitely like Singleton over Allen

Don't wanna jinx it but the way the board is falling...

Nussy might be BPA at 178.

Will Howie do it?

The hounds of justice. Dang does that bring back memories before TKO bought WWE and completely ruined it.

Abney is one I thought would go earlier too

Abney to Detroit. Big steal. Good scheme fit for us. thats a miss.

But Demmings is still there!

20 picks away

nobody wants RBs from this class. Possible.

Id take Allen. Singleton is a bust and thats the guy we met with. Need someone to draft him ahead of us.

I would also prefer allen

Dont love tb but this board has been picked clean

No. He has no starting experience as a safety in the NFL and is even smaller than Mukuba. Pairing another inexperienced safety with him who is even smaller than him would be FN stupid. My guess is they trade for someone in camp like they did with CJGJ a few years ago.

We should play him at center. Purely for the bit.

Move over tush push. Hurts is going to climb on Bell's back as they fall into the endzone like a tree being cut down.

Demmings. Future CB2 after Woolen is gone. Stud.

Masses, future CB2 perfect scheme fit.

Nuss. Need a QB for the new system to maximize all the new weapons.

Randall from Clemson would be my RB pick at this point.

I would take Allen over SIngleton as well and it's not even close. Singleton, a RB with horrible vision, yeah I'll pass.

F, there went Taaffe.

S is in trouble. Kilgore may be the guy but I think we will end up disappointed with him.

So him being unathletic wouldn’t make him a candidate for guard? Lining up and running behind that mass has to be tempting.

It's not that Bell is unathletic. It's that he's not athletic. Does this make sense? Like if you were to grade his athleticism on a 1-10 scale, he's a 5. Not bad but not special. What makes him special is that he's a 5 athleticism but weighs 350 pounds with 36+ inch arms.

The guy who went in the first is 335 pounds but a 7 or 8 level athlete. A little bit smaller but a true GOOD athlete.

The height is another issue. He's a hair under 6'10". If you put him at guard, he's going to be playing against guys who weigh nearly as much as him but are half a foot shorter. So, they are naturally going to be able to get low on him, get their hands underneath Bell's pads, and drive him back.

If Bell is on the edge he will be playing against guys who are 70-100 pounds lighter than him, those guys will have shorter arms, and because of their alignment wide of him won't be able to instantly gain a leverage advantage against him.

Safety going off the board left and right. Kilgore must have too many warts in his game. Haven't read about him except that the Eagles have interest. Guessing he is an in the box safety that is an inconsistent tackler and can't cover.

It disappoints me.

Seattle just drafted Beau Stephens. Hes a day 1 starter for a lot of teams at OG, from Iowa.

The wait between picks has been painful.

Heres another point. You can argue the value of those picks this year is diminished based on the class. But so was the value of the player they traded up for. Its relative. Still probably an overpay (also likely required to trade up with a division rival). And you traded up in a class with players not worth trading up for. Most years, Carnell Tate is a late 1st kind of guy. He was WR1. Our guy, WR2 in the class looks like a typical 2nd rounder. Maybe late 1st if you really allow the avanced stats to talk you in to it. And I dont hate the player. I just hate the value. This is a deep draft in certain positions, and those positions aligned well with our needs. Those picks should have been more valuable to us than other teams.

Dallas did pretty well with them I think, but there are still players I liked even more than who Dallas drafted.

I thought Downs was a great pick for them. What a great fit! Conversely. I think

Styles is going to disappoint the Commodes. He can run and cover but he’s not a tough guy. He runs around blockers. JMHO.

Makes me wonder if williams has been cross training at RG

Bell is too tall for guard

Is he? Pierce has been training at G and is damn near as tall as Bell.

The entire room clapping after a draft pick in every war room is pretty corny and kinda North Korea-y.

People have speculated about his versatility to do that. But I think he's a backup and that might be an emergency situation at safety. Howie said in his pre-draft PC that the safety position room is not complete. Of course that could mean a pick today, undrafted free agent, a veteran free agent, trade, whatever. But he at least recognizes they need one.

very wrong. uber athletic coverage type who can do a bit of everything. But some think he belongs at CB. Just something off that he doesnt wow you despite all the athleticism. Maybe not as physical as youd like? Not sure what it is...

But no, box safety is not his type.

I will say, same type as VJ Payne. I like him a HELL of a lot more than Payne. Payne is a clear bust. Kilgore is a maybe bust.
