Hard not to be annoyed when a player so selfishly puts themselves above the team. Openly cares about their own stats above team success. Complains when he doesn't get the ball despite winning then goes out and half asses his effort in game. If you are going to go the route he did with the complaining then you better show up in games and not have the drops, quit routes and lazy attempts that he did throughout the year.

You act like every route he ran was lazy and he dropped every ball

The great part about this? George Pickens just got more expensive.

Never forget to give thanks for Jerry Jones being the dumbest GM in the league. Way to wait again and have the market reset.

Yup....this is all so crazy. Gone are the days of incremental increases in salaries. Some crazy GM has to blow the whole market out of whack with an over -the-top salary increase. This amount not only resets the entire WR market but all the other skill positions as well.

I know Mesidor is 45 years old, but most of the MIA footage I watched he was regularly getting around the edge to the passer faster than Bain was.

Bain is really good. But there's a number of NFL people who believe he will never be a 10+ sack a year guy.

If hes like a Brandon Graham and hes constantly disruptive and sets the edge, and makes TFLs in the run game and gets 8 sacks that's a really nice player.

But if you're drafting him top 15 and expecting something else, you may be disappointed.

That mock plays out pretty horribly for the Eagles. But if Ioane falls that far, they gotta go up and grab him. I know he's an IOL, but still, he's a stud and I don't love any OTs in this draft, and the Eagles absolutely cannot afford to draft a bust at OL for a variety of reasons.

There's a bunch of players worthy of 23 left on the board. Proctor would not be one.

Are Logan Paul and Jake Paul 2 different people?

They should have drafted Brady.

This is one of the mid-round OG prospects that looks worthy of a pick.

.. and Greenard will be 29 in May. I don't want to throw a bag at someone who's only gonna give us maybe two or three years

He's also not a freakbeast. I hope we pass on him.

I think I recall them meeting with him at the combine too. So, theres interest.

29 and a good player is better than 25 and needs to hit the weight room to be able to play.

There you go - he's the pick at 23.

I'd bet the Eagles would have very few, if any, players with first round grades at 23 in that mock. It's why Howie likes to move around in the draft. I don't think he'll be cool taking a guy with a 2nd round grade at 23. So he'll either try to move up and get one or move down if none are remaining at 23.

Howie generally keeps it 23 and under for the first few rounds. So Im thinking round 4 at the earliest. Even then, not thrilled with a 25 year old draft pick.

The most sure thing would be McNeil-Warren or Sadiq and I think theyd take one of them if that is how the board looks.

Jacas and Howell should be targets but youre right in that the eagles may not have a 1st round value on them. We have seen them show interest in Concepcion but I hope they dont value him at 23 either. Id have no problem with Howell at 23. If he was just a little bit longer or taller, hed be in the discussion somewhere around pick 10.

Well, that's if you're a good team and want to extend Pickens, should have been done before the market reset. Dallas needs to lean into a rebuild. Should have just kept it going with the Parsons haul. I would have traded Pickens and not extended him at all.

Im seeing Dallas is looking to the trade market for a veteran LB. I get that maybe they dont want to rely on a rookie but I feel a trade this year, with this LB draft is idiotic. This LB draft is nearly as crazy insanely deep as this WR draft. Its unbelievable. And Dallas is good at drafting LBs. They should just draft 1, or a few. Theyre bound to hit. A blind man can draft a good LB in this class.

Yeah, but if they rebuild, they won't lead the A block on First Take every morning. And that's the goal - attention. That's why he drags everything out, so that Stephen A. Smith keeps talking about him.

Rebuilding is boring. Winning is somewhat boring (Seattle getting no coverage). But constant chaos = constant attention.

Howie's draft approach is an evolving, moving target...for better and for worse. Overall, that's a good thing. You can't be a GM for life without testing different approaches and blazing your own trail; otherwise the league passes you by fast with newer GM's/coaches/etc.

There was once a time where older players with less athletic/explosive upside who dominated the senior bowl were very much their type. And they had a really, really bad track record with drafting those players.
