I look forward to Hurts and DeVonta winning a Super Bowl without AJ to solidify DeVonta as the best WR in franchise history.

Guess who's fault it is that Smith isnt already solidified as the best WR in franchise history. Ill provide a hint. AJ doesnt throw the football.

Finally someone made a video of my guy, the other, non-1st rounder Clemson OT Tristan Leigh.

NFL players having fun, not giving 100% to avoid injury (except Joe Burrow lol), some retired guys out there vs guys giving their all with something to prove.

They weren't, and it was still only a 10 point game in the championship. I think players around the league hear the team guys talking crap, and I doubt they are happy about it. It's not done and I think they are going to regret poking the bear.

It feels like every day another WR I havent heard of in this class pops up and actually looks good.

Ive said something similar about Omar Cooper, and Isaiah Bond. Or Antonio Williams, and Eric Rivers. In this case, its kinda difficult to determine what is so different between Chris Brazzell and Eric McAllister to justify taking Brazzell in round 2, when you can have McAllister mid-late day 3.

This WR class is insanely deep.

6'4'', almost 33'' arms and fast. Productive career. Big yards per catch average. Late hands on deep balls. RAC. Blocking ability. Decently diversified route tree. Just has to clean up his route running...

How deep will your depression be when the Eagles give Hurts his next extension?

If by some miracle he looks good in this offense, its ok.

He has spare time on his hands now that Manion is running thr show on offense.

AJ does **** and moan though when someone gets the football more than him.

I know he's bigger and heavier, but Max Klare, Delp, and Stowers move noticeably better than Roush does. All 3 of the former can make plays down field. I don't see Roush doing that in the NFL. He probably has higher upside as a blocker though. Klare and Delp don't look like TEs body wise. Klare really has some juice, but dude looks like a thick WR.

In this new offense and without Brown on the team so the coaches and QB aren't worried about getting him enough targets to keep him from having temper tantrums, Devonta could easily catch 100+ balls in 2026. He was so much better than Brown last season it wasn't even funny. WR1.

That wasn't the NFL version and I think you'd be in the minority. Most of us may watch the gold medal game but otherwise wouldn't care.

But that was retired players and internet personalities with a few active roster guys that had a week of practice. Get the best NFL people who want to participate that match the skills for flag football and they roll over the current team.

Oh no, I'm in the minority!

Yeah. People heard roush during senior bowl week and thought they discovered something. It was over-reaction. Im fine with targeting him as a possible TE3 in like round 7 but a lot of people seem to have fooled themselves into thinking he can be our future TE1 and that just isnt the case.

Im not saying dont draft him. But I am saying, he cant be the plan. There needs to be a legitimate TE1 such as Delp, Klare, Stowers (if the eagles can life with his inability to block), Royer, and maybe Raridon and Endries.

Theres even a bunch of guys Id be happy with as TE2 who might develop in to TE1, and Roush is still not in that group either. These guys would be Bentley, Klein, Gyllenborg.

Then, theres developmental types that are really nice athletes, at least in a straight line that could be dangerous down the seam Id take a chance on because they have higher upside. Those guys are RJ Maryland, DaQuan Wright, Josh Cuevas, Khalil Dinkins, and Dan Villari.

Roush is probably the absolute bottom prospect who still makes my draftable list. He has no athletic upside. He blocks, he can catch the ball but he is going nowhere after the catch. Hes too slow at 4.70, and he has no elusiveness or power for his size. He gets chopped down incredibly easily because he cant get his big tall legs out of the way fast enough. And someone is going to blow out his knee one day.

One has to wonder what Goodell was thinking sitting up there next to Rubin watching his NFL guys get embarrassed.

I thought the NFL vs. team USA flag football matchup was amazing. Granted, I didn't watch 🤣

But that result speaks to the beauty of sports. You've got an NFL who's who up against the best flag footballer's in the country. And they got absolutely waxed.

It speaks to the importance of skill, teamwork, and motivation. The team USA guys were playing for their legacy.

It was 2 different NFL teams. One had Jayden Daniels and Joe Burrow at QB. One had Hurts and Tom Brady. Various different WRs. Smith, and some washed guys like Odell Beckham and Hopkins. They included Logan Paul and IShowSpeed for some reason.

So yes, you can build a better NFL team. But its clear the game is very different and its no easy task for the NFLers to just walk in to the olympics and dominate like they think they can.

Not a thing, if the players actually cared and put together a proper team they would absolutely smoke the flag players. Lamar is a cheat code flag QB, even kyler Murray or Caleb williams would have been better than the QBs they chose.

Goodell probably could not care less about the outcome of this

Goodell was there and definitely wants a way to monetize this and get publicity for the NFL whether it be their own flag league, or publicity from NFL players in the Olympics, which clearly shouldnt happen.

Yes, those QBs would be much better choices for the flag game. But the movement skills are also different. Its not natural for the NFL guys to even think about moving that way. The field size is an adjustment too. Plays will be different. Different route concepts. Where a QB can safely put the football on throws is different. Too many differences.

That Doucette guy ran his mouth, and when it came time to shut him up, Goodell's boys got embarrassed. Doucette won. NFL lost.

They would have extended him by now if they wanted to. Then we wouldn't be worried about cap and having to wait till June to trade AJ.

Howie and Lurie know Hurts is not worth 60-70 mill avg

Technically that's not true but don't let that stop your hate

AI photo. His shirt said Hurts on it.

I need Howie to come out of the draft with

Howell or Lawrence

Bryce Lance

Joe Royer

Wherever he can, sprinkle in the CB, S, and some OL reinforcements.

I dont think we should take a tackle anywhere in the first 4 rounds. If you do, you probably should put him at Guard. I think that may even be the case for Freeling. I see the guards are better than the tackles, and I just dont see the athletic guards this year. I see plenty of nice guards for other teams but not for us. But you can get a tackle like Freeling, or Pregnon, or either of the Utah guys, etc and make them an athletic guard.
