So Dalton was brought in to be backup to McKee because Hurts is retiring to do flag football full time. Got it!

Any hope of that disappeared when Hurts showed himself to be the worst flag football player of all time yesterday.

Maybe they can do two-hand touch, 3 mississippis next year. This version of flag football wasn’t for me.

I thought it was entertaining.

It looks like the flag guys were right. They belong in the Olympics. They embarrassed our NFL talents.

Its a different body type, and a whole different way of moving to be elusive with the flags rather than dodging a tackler.

Field size takes a lot of adjustment, etc.

Too many differences for the NFL guys to make the adjustment on the fly.

He forced the incompletion on this down the field pass to DeVonta from Brady. It was against the rules of contact so a flag was thrown but in the NFL that was a legit breakup. The kid has natural athletic talent. If he is willing to take a serious attempt at it then the Eagles should seriously consider trying to bring him in like a Mailata like development. He was very stick on DeVonta throughout that game.

After this debate began whenever Doucette was running his mouth a year or so ago, it was easy to see a lot of those things and I personally could have drafted a much better flag team out of NFL talent.

Its clear the small quick guys are fit for that league. The QB needs to be mobile. Lamar is the QB for Flag. Hurts best attribute as a runner is his strength. He never made much sense at all. Wrong type of mobile QB. And, he wasnt about to risk injury out there running around either.

They should have WRs like Turpin.

I will say Gronk did look like a cheat code as a 3rd down possession target to move the chains. Those little flag guys had no chance to stop him from catching anything.

Looks like we have Miracle at Meadowlands II on NFL Network at 12.

Yup, rabbit ball - each to their own tastes.

For context, the flag football I was exposed to was 9v9 including 3OL and it was rough. I wouldn’t even call it football lite.

I think it's more a matter of they need to get used to it and practice. Will they want to put the time in? Maybe. But like you said they also need to construct it differently with speed. You can't tell me some of the fastest people in the league couldn't learn the sport and play just as well if they put the time in. Big if.

Also, that wasn't the best the NFL has to offer. That was a team of active players/retired players/internet personalities who practiced for a week.

The funniest part to me is the flag football cats acting all high and mighty after the win. Let's swap it up, put some pads on roll

Flag football is the gym teacher of football. Those who can't do, teach. Those who can't teach, teach gym. An NFL team would wipe the Olympics, other countries just don't play as much as we do. Think of how basketball was for decades at the olympics and that's what flag football will be

I will watch it if team USA takes on other countries, I won't watch the NFL version again

Go get Greenard Howie.

That wasn't the NFL version and I think you'd be in the minority. Most of us may watch the gold medal game but otherwise wouldn't care.

But that was retired players and internet personalities with a few active roster guys that had a week of practice. Get the best NFL people who want to participate that match the skills for flag football and they roll over the current team.

Agree. The championship was still only won by 10 points and it wasn't close to the best roster the NFL can offer. Freaking boxer was on the field.

Honestly if i didn’t get stuck in a million tweet deck things i would do that more.

NFL players having fun, not giving 100% to avoid injury (except Joe Burrow lol), some retired guys out there vs guys giving their all with something to prove.

DeVonta was definitely out there giving 100. He put on a show with Hurts.
