I could see Tyson happening, but just a gut feeling they won't go WR in round 1. I mean I think they could if he falls and Howie's unable to move up for an OT. But I think Howie's ideal scenario is move up for Freeling and hope a WR is there in round 2 or 3.

I could see the idea in theory to trade up for Freeling.

My problems- he sounds like at this point he is going to go way too high for us to even consider it.

His weakness as a run blocker on the move is a big deal in an OZ scheme. So, hes not necessarily some perfect scheme fit for us.

And, we should probably give Howie the benefit of the doubt that he knows ball rather than sticking to the TATERisms of "need an OT in round 1, have to get an OT in round 1". Howie should recognize the fact that there are no round 1 OT talents this year, and not take one. I have faith. Hopefully that he wont take one, but especially that hes not going to give up extra to move up for one.

Tyson to me sounds like Marvin Harrison Jr. Not the amazing draft prospect version- the NFL version that people have soured on because he doesnt play strong enough. Thats one of Tyson's issues. Harrison is capable of big games here and there because of his talent but he is too often out-physicaled to give consistent reliable production. Harrison is supposed to be an X #1. Tyson might have an easier life as Philly's #2. That means Smith is stuck at X though but everyone is hyping the potential for him to be moved around so... Tyson is really no blue chip #1 WR thats just going to slot in easily for us. Hes tough... makes a tough decision if he is there at 23.

BS or Not - If Carnell Tate played for a Clemson he’d be nowhere near a top 10 pick

I'm going to love watching Hurts and the Eagles win a Super Bowl without AJ as DeVonta Smith has an offensive player of the year level of a season. It's going to be so so so so sweet.

I think Howie is going to try to move up higher than people expect. Just a hunch, don't be surprised if the insiders on social media start putting out the "Eagles trying to move up" posts around pick 13 or 14. We know how much the Eagles value OL, especially OT. If they think as high of Freeling as I think they might, Howie is going to be very aggressive.

Well we disagree on the eagles opinion of the player. But trading to 13 or 14 refers back to my first issue with the idea. People are commonly talking about Freeling at 6th overall now, so we probably cant get high enough.

There is no chance he's going top 10. Anyone who is reporting that will be wrong.

The one thing I don’t like about Tyson is his face. He looks too goofy to be a dominant WR. Gives me Arcega-Whiteside vibes

Man, $50 million a year for a DE? Now guys like our DEs are gonna get $15-$20 when they have only earned half that.

You can easily add another $10M to your range

Ok Moneyball scout.

"He’s got an ugly girlfriend. Ugly girlfriend means no confidence.”

"He passes the eye test.”

"He’s got a great body.”

"He’s got a good face.”

"He’s got the look.”

"I like guys like that got a little hair on their ass.”

"Clean-cut, good face. Yeah, good jaw.”

"The guy’s got an attitude… This the kind of guy, he walks in the room his dick’s already been there for two minutes.”

You can probably argue that any WR taken away from the OSU program is going to lose value.

OSU is probably inarguably the best WR school in college football. You used to have LSU and Clemson with them for a few years but those schools have fallen off and OSU hasnt. Brian Hartline was such a great technician he got himself drafted higher than people initially thought he would and made a career for himself. And now, he is just an amazing WR coach that has all of these kids ready to go.

He adds value for any WR prospect.

Tate proved not to be a top athlete at the combine and nobody cared, because he is so good at WR stuff.

Is he a top 10 prospect in most years? Probably not.

Probably.

He wont be a WR1. The question is if his face prevents him from being a WR2.

I provide the stuff advanced scouting doesn’t. I also don’t like "Jordyn”. Like can we please grow up and spell it properly?

Finally a video with a few names I havent come across yet.

Also love to see some of my guys like Zuhn, Virgil, Jakobe Thomas, and Josh Cameron mentioned. Even Nowakowski and Andre Fuller.

I havent got to Michael Heldman (great last name. would be more fitting for Jalen Carter), or Lance Mason. Havent dont much studying of RBs and dont really plan to.

Thats basic white girl spelling of Jordan. That is a major red flag.

That alone will bump him back a couple rounds.

I think the only RBs I’ve looked at have been Heidenreich who’s just as much a slot receiver and Nowakowski who’s a TE who got some carries as a FB. Price is likely a really good OZ back, but that would be very surprising.

yeah I LOVE price.

I also love Whittington in later rounds. One of my biggest likes in a RB is contact balance. Its extremely translatable. Its how I was early on Kareem Hunt years ago before his stock his stock took off. Whittington is the best contact balance RB I have seen in this class. Im not quite sure its at Hunt's level. But I will say there is not always a RB in every class who has it like Whittington does either.

I know the two PSU RBs, and Im concerned about the fact that we have met with Singleton. Id prefer Allen but dont think the power back is a need with Bigsby here.

Id take a flier on Ott in late rounds. He has Jamaal Charles speed, and explodes through tiny creases you dont even realize are there from the TV angle like Charles and CJ2K used to. He has a significant injury history and did not play his best football this season. I dont know if he has it in him anymore or not, but round 7 or UDFA if he is there, Ill take a swing on Jamaal Charles game breaking speed.

Big fan of Adam Randall. 6'3'' 232. Good speed for his size. Think he was in the 4.5s. I think he plays like 4.4s. Former WR he can run and catch it.

Like Heidenreich a lot. Not sure where you play him.

Not impressed by Demond Claiborne. Seth McGowan has significant legal/character issues and wont be on our board. Think I remember Faison looking fast.

I think thats just about all I have watched that I can remember. I normally love watching RBs but I just dont think its worthy of much of my time this year with who we already have.

Of note, we are looking for a RB3 at best. This guy has to beat out my boy Shipley. And there are just about 0 good pass blocking RBs in this draft. So.... 3rd down back is basically not an option because without the blocking, the guy cant be a 3rd down back.

Youre going to actually need to find a guy who takes Shipley's place THIS year, because the plan is actually for him to take Bigsby's place once Bigsby hits free agency. Hell, you may want a guy who can be future RB1 sooner than later. But... if youre not drafting Price in round 1 or 2 I dont think thats coming out of this draft.

Future RB2 options I listed are Allen, and maybe Whittington. Eagles showed interest in Singleton, which is scary but I can see them expecting RB2 out of him.
