I think it does help him. It took a lot of mystery about his injury away. Teams can now be reassured that he can still move. There was mystery surrounding his injury and recovery timeline. That's gone now.

Did NFLSE ever complete their position rankings episodes- I remember safety and maybe DT, OT… but recently it’s just mock after mock and super chats.

Yeah I don't think so. They haven't done one in a while. And they haven't been deep either. They're still doing top 10s or 15s instead of like top 20-25s. Slacking.

First of all, I love him.

2nd I really wished we actually needed a LB this year because this draft is amazing there.

3rd that's really interesting that they are even considering a LB before day 3. I never expected it.

of course not - Goddell and Kraft are butt buddies

The only reason the league would get involved is if they thought some type of collusion was involved between Russini and Vrabel concerning A.J. An affair between the two otherwise would be meaningless. Half the NFL would be under invesigation for that. Fletcher Cox would have been suspended years ago.

Maybe asking about Freeling, Delp, Branch, etc., or starting a relationship for down the line (trade, free agency). I can’t fathom that he’s actually in their draft plan.

And I'm not sure why they think there isn't collusion

Could be another heavy Georgia draft with Freeling, Delp, Allen all possibilities.

Too much smoke about the situation

Lurie should be contacting the league

My tinfoil hat conspiracy is the Eagles will get a little bump in compensation from NE when they eventually trade for Brown and any tampering will get swept under the rug.

Jack Kelly in RD5 is my LB target for the Eagles.

Check him out.

Yep. He's good. Just haven't been expecting a LB at all.

Same here. I wonder how Trotter Jr. and Mondon are progressing in their development.

Trotter is probably ok. I haven't seen reason to be excited about Mondon yet.

I feel like Howie might want to right his wrong and draft Justin Jefferson this year.

If just ranking the 4 worst then I would bump Dillard and add on JJAW. Unless you are just looking at 1st round picks. But JJAW over Metcalf was awful at the time and awful in hindsight. I will never forget Wentz hitting JJAW with a perfect pass that would have won the game against the Lions in 2019 that bounced right off of JJAW's face.

The dillard pick in value is still worth twice as much as the JJAW pick

Every year there is a "popular fan pick" that a big chunk of the fans want. This year it seems to be Sadiq. Just talking to friends and various people, everyone seems to want him. And I'm surprised at how many beat guys I heard say they think Howie could trade up for him. There is no chance Howie trades up for a TE unless it's one or two spots and all the top OL and WRs and Edge guys are long gone. I can't think of a move that is "less Howie' than trading up for a TE.

I don’t think so. What Russini did defied ethics as a journalist. All he did was cheat on his spouse; the nfl shouldn’t police marriage contracts.

Scottie Barnes is super overrated. They need to blow that team up.

The concern is that he was using russini to impact football operations (like with the AJ brown trade). Really coincidental that all she talked about for weeks, day in and day out, was an AJ Brown trade. How he wanted out and NE was the only real suitor

Former eagle TE McCallan Castles got released by Green Bay.

It’s who he cheated with and I think it’s ethically more suspect.

I tend to agree but my guess is that Sadiq is highly rated by the Eagles. They may not trade up for him but he is a consideration if he falls to 23.

He should be investigated for tampering - but beyond that, the NFL has a hard enough time dealing with criminal activity let alone ethical issues.
