Just curious any reason they don't do a grip strength test at the combine or at pro days? Pretty sure they do that at the NHL combine. Would be pretty cool to see how those numbers would pan out

I'd be quite happy if they came out of the first two rounds with Freeling and Chris Bell. Would really like if they moved McKee for an extra pick and then used that to move up so they can still have 4 picks in the top 100.

Berman likes Gabe Jacas a lot. Haven't seen a lot of him it's one of the Edge guys I didn't do much of a dive into.

Dani Dennis-Sutton is getting a lot of buzz from the local guys about an Eagles day two pick. I think I've heard like 5 beat guys now say they think he could be a guy for the Eagles.

Some people seem to be correlate many of Proctor’s losses to when he was the heaviest. Would think if the Eagles believe that, they might really want him given their critical factors and the success Jordan Davis just had with his weight management (maybe selectively forgetting that took 4 years to happen haha).

I learned during my time with a hand surgeon (who is now a doctor for the Packers) that most grip strength actually comes from the pinky. You dont think of it as the strongest finger but due to its shortness, it has a mechanical advantage. If you make a fist and really focus on which finger is really closed the tightest, you can notice it.

So some people think hand size is over-rated for a lot of positions. And generally you think if anyone is paying attention to hand size, they are looking for the largest hands possible. Mostly you hear about it in QB and WRs, but sometimes OL too.

I wonder if, for a DL who might have to grab a QB jersey and pull him down.... maybe an LB for tackling purposes as well...maybe small hands are actually a good thing?

Im not boosting R Mason Thomas up my board. Im pretty uninterested in him as an Eagle even though he may be very good.

I have fairly small hands. Back in the day, the thing I wanted more than anything else was large and strong hands. I thought then and still think they provide a great advantage, at any position.

Those are the two I'd like most. I do not want an edge in round 1 if possible to get either of these guys in 2nd or early 3rd then that's the right move IMO

I like some of the round 2 Edge guys but the Eagles have done so poorly drafting Edge guys in the 2nd and 3rd round I think I'd rather them just go WR and TE in round 2 and 3. Freeling/Proctor/Iheanachor, Bell, Klare would be a hell of a haul for your top 3 picks.

Hunt has been a very good round 3 edge pick

Not sure about outlier. Roseman's history with drafting Edge players in round 1 compared to rounds 2 and 3 is pretty even historically.

Dennis-Sutton would be kinda dumb. Hes just an athlete. Jacasis a perfect fit.

They might. But it does make more sense for some, like OL. Maybe it still makes sense for all positions. Just some random thoughts earlier.

It doesnt take a genius. I was a big Hunt guy too. Another one of those heavy handed edges. It translates. They can learn rush moves later but the power can already generate wins for them.

If he gets within range he will be the best player in their range. He's a better WR than Freeling or Proctor are OTs.

I know Howie wants OT badly, but he also likes blue chip talent. I don't think Tyson is like Chase or Julio Jones level prospect but I think if healthy he's the best WR in this class. I like him more than Tate.
