The OC was changed and AJ still wants out. Vrabel loved him. I think that respect was mutual. It seems he is running from one HC to another. One, a family man with his kids at PCs with a great family culture in the team facility. Another one brought up in "the Patriot way" preaching a no personality, dehumanized, machine like work culture rife with (football) cheating scandals, and extra marital affairs.

Yeah it’s not a good look for Aj going there considering what he’s said and preached publicly.

Also I truly believe at some point in time after this trade gets done, there’s gonna be a story or leaks stating AJ Brown wanted a contract extension knowing he only had $4 million guaranteed on his contract after 2026. That the eagles didn’t want to give him that extension because he was gonna be 30 and didn’t wanna pay him another big contract. I think that shoe is not gonna drop until this trade happens and New England likely gives him an extension. Then we’ll start seeing this kind of be incorporated into the narrative.

I can never work out who dodged the bullet when the relationship ended. Wilson for not paying alimony on his big contracts, or her for not being married to someone as weird as Russell Wilson.

Maybe I’m being naive, but I don’t think she was coordinating with Vrabel to try to lower Brown’s value or something like that. I think she was reporting what Vrabel told her (which appears to be true). The real issue is if Vrabel was coordinating with Brown to orchestrate a trade to NE.

She was rabid in making it a constant story about his frustrations and desire to play for the Patriots. It created an ongoing distraction for the Eagles during the season. She actively took part in working with Vrabel to get these trade demands out in public and Vrabel was getting these trade demands from AJ.

She took an active and knowing part in the collusion.

It’s only collusion if she knowingly orchestrated the story for the purpose of facilitating a trade at a lower price. I think people are giving her reporting too much power. I’m not sure she was part of a nefarious plot to get Brown to NE. I think she was sleeping with a coach and was getting pumped information (intentional phrasing).

The distraction was from Brown pouting on and off the field. He was the one with the real power here. When he’s traded, it’s all because he wanted to move on and let it affect his play and attitude.

Collusion to keep a psycho walking amongst us, he’ll be back in jail after he attacks somebody else. Dr. Melfi isn’t solving this guy’s problems.

Hurts has a restocked weapons aresnal and no excuse to fail in the new offense.
