I wonder if position value doesn’t matter much this year.

I just hope all the teams and players have a good time and make some new friends along the way.

You know what we need? More player girlfriend reactions thinking about the money they're gonna spend.

Can he run outside Zone? Not pretending to know all of this but most places I've read says he would struggle with it. I think him and Dickerson would be less than ideal for that type of offense.

I don't think you need to be the most agile OG to run it effectively. I think it's more a function of moving in unison. I thought the idea was to get the defensive front moving and for the back to look for a crease in the zone.

I think position value in general is eroding. It won’t go away totally, but I think the alpha you could get by drafting a highly rated player at a devalued position is being corrected by the market.

You can already see OG, RB, TE, LB and S becoming more valued each year.

Yay or Nay ?

Like the first three picks plus Demmings and Stribling although I doubt Stribloing is there at 137. I would prefer Freeling/Proctor to Sadiq but if they are not there Sadiq would be ok.

Do y'all think this is worth anything....

My Eagles Mock Draft (4).png

Don't like 3 #1 and #2 at all espeically at those spots. Love the Moore pick. Crownower is a major project but there is something to work with. Would rather have him that Bell who has lead feet and would be killed by speed rushers. Moore is the DE I want late round two if he can last that long.

Absolutely right. The only reach block would be the TE or maybe the Z. Everybody else just goes diagonally and blocks whoever gets in the way.

Im not sure id move up for anyone. Maybe if one of the top 2 safeties fell and it was a small move up to secure them.

But I’m just not seeing the value this year where there are clear cut star players to be had.

Here is my one and only Eagles seven round mock draft:

Round one pick 23 - Max Iheanachor, OL Arizona State

Need and value will come together for the Eagles as they will get Lane Johnson's heir apparent with a high upside swing for Iheanachor. Both Iheanachor and the Eagles are perfect fits for each other as his upside is significantly higher than some of the tackle options likely to be there at 23, and he will benefit from a redshirt year to refine his technique and learn from Lane Johnson.

Round two pick 54 - Treydan Stukes, DB Arizona

Back to the state of Arizona for the Eagles with Stukes. Yes he is an older prospect but this dude screams Eagles pick. He has the versatility to play nickel, in the box, or deep. He is tough, a true leader, and loves ball. This is a guy that everyone will love from Vic, to Nick, to Howie, Also let's face it, we aren't really going into camp without legit competition for an average guy like Epps and project slot corner turned S in Michael Carter III.

Round three pick 68 - Dani-Dennis Sutton, Edge Penn State

DDS has the size, production, and athletic profile from the edge rusher position the Eagles should love. Top 30 visit, PSU guy, Delaware native, he just makes a lot of sense and fills a need.

Round three pick 98 - Bryce Lance, WR North Dakota State

I really think the Eagles will look to add a speedy WR with size if their top 30 visits are any indication. Lance has the size at 6'3 204 lbs with legit 4.3 speed. He is a bit raw as a route runner but the talent is there. Maybe this is a lazy comparison due to the helmet but I also get Christian Watson vibes from him and after already adding Wicks this gives Mannion an opportunity to re-create the WR room in GB with Devonta, Wicks, Lance, and Hollywood.

Round four pick 114 - Eli Raridon, TE Notre Dame

While I like other TE's like Max Klare, Oscar Delp, Sam Roush, etc chances are Raridon will be drafted after them and I think he has every bit the upside of them if not more. Great size, solid receiving skills, and plenty of upside. Raridon is my day three TE target for the Eagles and I really hope he is an actual target for them

Round five pick 137 - Jude Bowry, OL Boston College

Bowry has some position versaility in the NFL despite playing LT in college. He is a little bit inconsistent but has the tools and athletic ability to develop into a starter with a move to guard or could potentially be a quality swing tackle as well. Offensive line is just a need for this team period both in terms of depth right now and starting in 2027 where they might need two or three new starters.

Round five pick 178 - Charles Demmings, CB Stephen F. Austin

Small school corner with decent size and some upside. Riq Woolen will likely only be here for more year and the depth at outside corner is also a need long term so it's a dart throw worth taking if they can't address this position a little bit earlier.

Round six pick 197- Justin Jefferson, LB Alabma

Undersized athletic LB who can probably be a quality special teams option right away. Plus it would be kind of funny and cool to right the wrong from 2020 and draft Justin Jefferson, lol.

Is that draft prospects looking at who is in the top 5 or wherever they're thinking they're going to get drafted and decide to stay in college because they don't like the team? Or is it because they're getting paid more now because of NIL?

There’s so many factors going into it. The draft is a crap shoot either way. I’m following a bit of the convo in regards to this after my comment. Opting for a 27 pick vs a 26…i think a lot of that is the "manning craze”/perceived sweepstakes. Arch is the anti-Trevor Lawrence Trevor Lawrence.

ON the flip side, my soap box item for the past couple years…NIL is destroying the pipeline IMO. These kids are becoming merchants. Make that money in college and move around to who pays you the most. Develop doesn’t matter anymore at the college level. Makes the draft even more of a crap shoot.

Feel like we can trade back and still get McNeil-Warren. Maybe Arizona comes up for Simpson. Same with Lawrence.

I haven’t really looked into too many people this draft outside of EMW, since he came up a lot a while ago…I like him a lot. Reminds me of Kam Chancellor a good bit. Looks like a smooth athlete, super physical and smart. IDK where he slots on the board (if our 1st is too rich). Def seems like a player that Vic would love.

Oh, I've been pointing that out since they made the trade. Cowboys fans on Twitter were fighting me on it, claiming he was under contract...

Dumbest fans get the dumbest owner/GM in the league.

The fact that Jerry shuts down negotiations at a certain point every year is comical. They’re lucky that Q isn’t clamoring this year for a new deal honestly.
