I would think the price for AJ, to the Pat's at least, has gone up since all of this took place.

I don’t really buy into Rusinni’s role in any Eagles drama with Brown (Brown easily could have ended this through his words and actions), but Vrabel texting with him frequently is absolutely something that should be looked into.

If i were his wife, I’d just divorce him and take him to the cleaners. It isn’t just that he cheated, he planned an entire getaway with his mistress and probably been going on for years. Imo I wouldn’t be shocked if down the road some other woman comes out saying she was also having an affair with him while he was married. He seems to be the type of guy who is arrogant and cocky enough to believe he could get away with it and live that type of life

For that story to dump late on a Wednesday makes you think something else is coming out soon. Or maybe the world’s most renowned sex therapist happened to have Saturday be their only opening for an in-take until training camp.

It’s not my history in journalism. Russini deserved to be fired, but I don’t think her reporting on this changed the dynamic for Brown and the Eagles. If he was happy and wanted to stay, it would all go away.

Maybe I’m being naive, but I don’t think she was coordinating with Vrabel to try to lower Brown’s value or something like that. I think she was reporting what Vrabel told her (which appears to be true). The real issue is if Vrabel was coordinating with Brown to orchestrate a trade to NE.

This is kind of how I feel. She was boning him to get information for her job. The information he was giving her turned out to be true. Whether or not vrabel was colluding with Aj brown to maneuver a way for him to get out of Philly and to NE is a different story.

Frankly it has been kind of obvious AJ Brown doesn’t want to be here anymore for whatever his reasons. Besides Diana Russini’s info been other reporters leaking stuff out too. Imo eagles were alway moving on from Aj at the end of 2026. Imo was a risk if he came back that if he got hurt or underperformed that they’d get even less a year from now. The eagles might not be completely heartbroken to make a post June 1st trade as they were unlikely giving him an extension he wants at 30 ($4 mil guaranteed left on deal after 2026) and they might be taking the approach better to get out a year early then a year too late

Its kinda funny how AJ Brown was talking about money revealing the real person you are, and using his teammates problems with women as an example. Wonder what he thinks about knowing who his Patirots HC really is.

An old manager of mine would always say "perception is reality" From a superficial perspective, Brown enjoyed playing with Vrabel in Tennessee, Vrabel didn't want him traded, is HC in the AFC and Russini (his side piece) has been constantly reporting a friendly NE version of the trade story. You can fairly presume Russini's constant stories were an attempt to unsettle the player and force them to ask for a trade.

Truth or not on that, still looks off.

If this trade goes down Howie better get that 2027 pick. Patriots are all kinda of bad karma right now, that team has 7-10 written all over them.

I was just going to mention this. I don’t know how you say the things AJ Brown did about teammates issues with how they view/treat women, but then have to go play for this head coach who clearly had an affair and how he treated his family/wife. Add on just as a player hard to having my HC ask me for accountability as a player, making good decisions and trust but he is anti-those things off the field

Idk you still have to live with him in your life til that point. Will have to cause of the kids but really everyday living your life with him in the same house is a lot and emotionally it can take a toll on you. He’s made a great deal of money already. I rather get what he has now and not waste anymore time with a POS like him.
