I didn’t understand why teams thought he would be a great NFL coach. He had Patrick Mahomes at Texas Tech. He got less out of him then he should have. that team should’ve been way better than some of the records that they had

He couldn’t recruit defense.

What would you rather have. Howie fired or Chase/Sewell?

I wonder if the Eagles end up in the top 5 if there won’t be a team around pick 10 that wants to trade up for a QB. I mean the Bears, Washington or the Panthers could all be interested and would be picking around that range.

Let's hope.

Do we have to sacrifice our first round pick to fire Howie?

Oh Howie fired easily

Depends who you want at #10, though.  Instead of Sewell or Chase or Parsons you’re probably looking at Jaylen Waddle WR or Alex Leatherwood OT — hope maybe Patrick Surtain Jr CB is still on the board at #10?

We may have to sacrifice something with how much Lurie loves him. Any virgins around? Is Tebow married yet?

Howie tarred and feathered with us getting Chase or Sewell isn’t an option?

He was too busy recruiting all the moms

In regards to the draft, as it stands now, Chargers are the wild card. Jets/Jags should easily be QB/QB. Bengals not taking Sewell with Burrow coming off a major knee injury should be malpractice. Dallas certainly isn’t taking a WR, CB should be their pick. Maybe they surprise with a OT reach or Rousseau, but D should be their pick. Chargers, I don’t know where they go.

I think Parsons, Rousseau, Farley,Leatherwood or Surtain could still be there around 10.  Smith or Moore could be there too.

I think it depends on if Keenan Allen is brought back for the chargers. They have Mike Williams but after that if Keenan Allen walks they don’t really have much at wide receiver. I can see them go chase if they are ahead of the Eagles.

Also do you think in hindsight Dallas is kicking themselves right now for taking lamb at 17 meanwhile they might be picking in the top five and have a chance at a even better wide receiver in chase? they didn’t want lamb to fall to the Eagles and they liked him. Meanwhile the Eagles might wind up getting a better wide receiver in the upcoming draft this year because they did that.

I remember last season whenever I saw Robert Saleh on the sidelines for niners games he was so animated and full of energy, so much so that they hired a guy to keep him off the sidelines when he got too excited. This season he always looks depressed and disinterested and just no life at all. Stark contrast between the two years.... random observation for a guy who’s name comes up in future HC conversations

If any opt out is going to drop, I think Parsons is the likely candidate. He could easily be there around 10. Not sure if it’s worth it to draft an off ball linebacker that high though.

Do they accept a sacrifice of JJAW?

Yep. The whole time during the draft I was saying it would be so stupid for them to draft Lamb just to prevent the Eagles from drafting him. The second you play that game, you just hurt yourself.

I have no idea if Brian Daboll or Arthur Smith can put together a coaching staff or lead a football team, but I’d like to find out.

Have you seen JJAW play football?

Allen just signed an $80M extension this year.

Probably.  And if if someone other than the Jets gets the 1st (doubtful) and wants to trade it.....there will be teams attempting to trade up like you've never seen before in your life.  Anything in the 1st round likely doubles in value.  So we should be rooting for the Jets to win out.

Well if the Jets and Jags take the qbs. One of those players should be available at 4 if we can manage to make it there.

Bengals are taking Sewell. It'd be amazing if they don't

I must have missed that. So that’s good. Plays in our favor in terms of chase.
