Howie won't let Q or DeJean hit free agency. Other than that, we'll see. They've finally been drafting really well on defense and have great coaching to develop guys, it's a good problem to have but you want to be able to sustain it as well.

I don’t think Q will demand a market resetting deal that he deserves is what I’m saying. From what I understand he turned down crazy nil transfer offers to stay at Toledo. Expect somewhat similar.

Wow they're still around?? I haven't seen a joint LJS/A&W in probably 15 years, I thought they both went under (well store side for A&W, obviously still see their root beer at the store)

I’m up in canadia right now. Saw a stand alone a&w. Typically though they’re attached to a kfc or Taco Bell.

Are we really going to have another season of Jake Elliot as our kicker and costing us games?

I have one down the street from me, I never see cars there but it's still open somehow lol. They say A&W burgers are underrated... Never had one to make that statement myself though.

Truth is that if the QB played up to par, the kicker would not have been able to cost us any games last year. This team with the talent on O, and as good as the D was should have blown everyone out. There should be no close games that come down to the kicker.

Hey pessimistic Pete........Why don't you take a swan dive off the Chesapeake Bay bridge into the jellyfish infested area right into an oncoming speedboat?

Listen. Your fu€kin sister in law still hasn’t called me back. For your sake I hope she doesn’t because this thanksgiving I’m coming down to Charlotte and stuffing your turkey wang Chung. Afterwards you can talk about how badass you were being the second best player on your tennis team

Buh bye Ojomo. He’s going to ball out and have a very productive season. Getting paid next year by another team.

And then we get those sweet, sweet comp picks.

It’s Canada. They don’t count.

See: gold medal men’s hockey game.

I think it's hilarious that they gave it away pretty much immediately after AJ left when they've barred numbers for other players for years lmao

I had to look it up to find out who that was. I don't like the new random number stuff. 11 for a LB? huh

Especially since he was the best to ever play here. Usually they hold on to those #s for 24 hours or MORE*

*I don't remember how long after he left they gave it away. Shut up nerds.

Which player that forced his way out of town would qualify for comparison purposes? TO's #81 was given away the very next year to Jason Avant, IIRC. When a player forces his way out of town... it makes you wonder if he'll even be invited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their SB victory.

Yes.

No other team in the league can come close to as good of a group of 4 young defensive cornerstone players. Eagles drafted them all, already won a Super Bowl with them as possibly the best defense lf this century, and they will have all 4 pf them locked up on new deals by this time next year.

Jordan Davis, should have been named All Pro last year, has entered his prime and could peak as the best NT in football.

Jalen Carter, already an All Pro, not yet in his prime and could peak as the best DT and maybe defensive player in football.

Quinyon Mitchell, already an All Pro, not yet in his prime and could peak as the best CB and maybe defensive player in football.

Cooper DeJean, already an All Pro, not yet in his prime and could peak as the best Nickle and maybe defensive player in football.

TO was better.  2nd best WR ever and even he would agree that his best season was with the Eagles.

Hopefully we can get a few more super bowls out of this group

Wish we had more in the pipeline at DT, but maybe I’m being greedy. Ojomo is definitely gone next year.

Cox, Hargrave, Davis, Carter, Williams, Ojomo... they've done a great job with DT over the years. Ojomo will leave and be replaced, while the 2 stud DTs are secured long-term.

Much easier task replacing rotational DTs than studs.

If they keep drafting the way they have been we'll have another super bowl during this group's (JD, JC, coop, Q) second contracts
