I didn't even count the second one because it was written right after he was hired. All generic "he's doing a great job, excited to have him here".These comments are all wildly different than what is being said about this offense.
Friday at 02:50 AM4 days As someone who’s been sick of the drama filled seasons they’ve had the past three years, including the year they won a freaking Super Bowl, the overall vibe of the team seems great now. Obviously that’ll change if they get off to a slow start, but I could easily see this team building some serious momentum if they can string together some wins. Similar to what they did in 2024.They all seem to be aligned and I can’t think of a personality on the team right now who would F that up. It probably could have been Carter if he didn’t get his deal, but I’m assuming he’s happy now.

I don’t know how much of it has to do with how great this system is versus how elementary and basic Patullo was last year.

These dudes just went through a season with someone using a tecmo bowl playbook. Also, while they've had competent offenses this is the first time they aren't in a primarily shotgun offense (at least if the early practices and first TC practices are any indication). This system might not be amazing, but I expect it to at least look like an NFL offense. Whether they can execute is another story, but they really just need to be a top 15 offense. Just be average, with this defense they just need to be not-awful. Unfortunately they couldn't accomplish that last year

They had a dude who was sad boy when they won but he didn't get stats and indifferent when they lost but he got his. No one will say it to the press but I bet 90% of the room is glad he's gone

Friday at 10:53 AM4 days I think I'll wait until I see the product on the field before I start getting my hopes up that Mannion is going to turn this team into anything other than what it was last year. What do you guys think the players are going to say publicly?

Friday at 12:52 PM4 days Bo is a bully and Fran is weak and follows along with it. He disrespects EJ solely because Bo does it all the time.

Friday at 02:10 PM4 days One thing that is concerning to me is, in that Barkley/Clark golf course interview, Barkley said we are letting the big guys up front be athletes.First, that doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me, as the eagles have searched for athletic OL during the entire Stoutland era. Jason Kelce become the celebrity he is because of his pulling ability. We have seen highlights of all of our OL blocking like 40 yards down field in the past.Secondly- theyre old and or injured. If theyre somehow being asked to be even more athletic as their bodies are breaking I dont see that going well.

Friday at 02:28 PM4 days Just now, Freshmilk said:Well, so far the tackles seem to like it.Yeah. Which means nothing. Often players are the last to realize their own limitations as they age, or slow to accept the reality that theyve lost the ability to do whats asked of them. Its no surprise that they are excited about something new and different. And something that sounds like it is designed to let them allow their athletic gifts to shine. We wont know anything until we actually see them do what is asked, successfully.
