All of those articles prove my point. I didn't even count the second one because it was written right after he was hired. All generic "he's doing a great job, excited to have him here".

These comments are all wildly different than what is being said about this offense.

As someone who’s been sick of the drama filled seasons they’ve had the past three years, including the year they won a freaking Super Bowl, the overall vibe of the team seems great now. Obviously that’ll change if they get off to a slow start, but I could easily see this team building some serious momentum if they can string together some wins. Similar to what they did in 2024.

They all seem to be aligned and I can’t think of a personality on the team right now who would F that up. It probably could have been Carter if he didn’t get his deal, but I’m assuming he’s happy now.

Mailata and Lane made it sound like Mannion showed them how to make fire for the first time. I don’t know how much of it has to do with how great this system is versus how elementary and basic Patullo was last year.

I think it's mostly the latter. These dudes just went through a season with someone using a tecmo bowl playbook. Also, while they've had competent offenses this is the first time they aren't in a primarily shotgun offense (at least if the early practices and first TC practices are any indication).

This system might not be amazing, but I expect it to at least look like an NFL offense. Whether they can execute is another story, but they really just need to be a top 15 offense. Just be average, with this defense they just need to be not-awful. Unfortunately they couldn't accomplish that last year

I truly think that with AJ gone they might even be able to recover from a slow start (slow being like 2-3 or something, not drastic like 0-5). They had a dude who was sad boy when they won but he didn't get stats and indifferent when they lost but he got his. No one will say it to the press but I bet 90% of the room is glad he's gone
